This price is based on 2 people travelling from London Stansted on 9th December returning 11th December and staying in the excellent aletto Hotel Kudamm.
Berlin's Christmas markets are the best you can get, traditional German markets with plenty of locations to choose from, perfect to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Berlin is super cold in December so make sure you wrap up warm especially seeing as you'll be outside the majority of the trip.
There is tons to see and do in Berlin and you might find 3 days isn't enough, the flights are a little more expensive to extend the trip around these dates due to it being December however if you want to go for just a mini Christmas market break 3 days is perfect.
The hotel is situated close to the zoo and there is an excellent Christmas market around this area. It has excellent transport connections with a ü-bahn being in front of the hotel, Berlin has an excellent public transport system connecting you to every part of the city!
If you want to keep the cost down you can choose another hotel, I chose this one because I thought it was reasonable, well located and it had excellent reviews however there are cheaper hotels if you want to make the trip cheaper.
Again if you want to keep the cost down maybe choose a different flight, the time I chose give you the maximum time in Berlin but if you get a later flight there and earlier one back you could save yourself a few pennies.
There are plenty of dates to choose from in December from London Stansted, there are some from other airports in the UK however these are showing more expensive.
Some of the bigger Christmas markets in Berlin require a €1 entrance fee but they're worth it!
Price breakdown
Ryanair flights - £101.96 - £50.98pp booked through Ryanair
Hotel - £77 - £38.50pp booked through booking.com
Price for 2 people - 178.96
Price each - £89.48
Getting from Berlin Schonefeld to Berlin couldn't be easier, the metro takes you straight from the airport into the city where you can connect to another metro straight to the hotel and it only costs a few € each
This trip doesn't include a bag but you can have a 10kg hand luggage and a handbag, which is plenty for a 3 day trip!

Just thought I'd mention that you can get the hotel a little cheaper (~£63 + ~£5.50 tax) on ebookers.com with one of their various discount codes (for example 'THANKYOU')
Ooor.. you can get the entire package for £151 (plus ~£5ish taxes) when booking with them (and EBKWEEKEND).
And I'll shut up!

Great price, but as you say be prepared for the cold. I don't usually get cold but visited Berlin in January once and it was bone chilling cold like I have never experienced before, even with lots of layers on!
