Keyboard hardmen? Dude, it's a picture of Gene Wilder playing Willy Wonka. Please don't take this as a declaration of war, it's just not worth it.

As I said it is pedanticism. Should the world over set which timeline everyone should be celebrating New Years Day?

Here we go, lets all follow the herd and get swallowed up by BTTF day!. Almost as bad as all this star wars hype (I love the Star Wars films, but putting tickets out for sale now for the December release. Really!). Talk about the dark side....this is the dark side of capitalism....yuckl!

To be fair most fans will have had the BR set for many years and since this set features the exact same transfers those most into BTTF day won't be buying it. These are really aimed at those who never bought them before.

So in fact you will be celebrated the arrival 8 hrs before they would arrive.... So not really celebrating 30 years at all rather 29 years 16hrs. The anticipation and the comparison between the expected and the reality 30 years later is what's being viewed. To properly compare you have to be precise.

To be honest, I still think I would prefer to rip the blu ray and stream...Universal have never learned, they have the annoying language selection as soon as you put in the disc, followed by another couple of minutes of crap before you get to the main menu.....it has been this way with both HD DVD and Blu Ray.

What makes me laugh is everyone in the UK is celebrating the wrong day ; ) its actually 00:29 on the 22nd . .... 4:29pm California time is +8hrs UK time ....
cicobuff to Tim19788
21 Oct 15#78
I am sure many of us are aware of this fact, however I do not wait when visiting my relatives in California for GMT when celebrating New Year over there, of Christmas Day etc etc. I am just as happy celebrating the New Year in the UK and phoning relatives at 8am to wish them a Happy New Year as I am taking October 21st 2015 at 4:29 in the UK as the anniversary date and time of this. It's just pedanticism.

Not to mention after just finishing watching the first two films tonight on blu ray, for those of us that have home cinema setups it sounds much better having Dolby True HD Master Audio, and the picture quality on these blu ray sets is great.

People might want to own them. Also they aren't true HD on itv even a blind man can see the difference between the blu Ray and the cut versions on itv. The colours are brighter and more detail etc on the blu Ray and as I already said they are cut. By your logic people shouldn't buy any film or to series as it will be on tv or a streaming site. Also they I'll not have any adverts or Keith lemon

Back in the 80s after watching the first film, my late uncle used to hang on to the back of the ice cream way without the driver knowing. I'd look out the living room window and there he was away up the road lol !
I do think it's a bit sad that the big cultural events these days seem to be related to stuff from twenty-thirty years ago. In film its Star Wars, BTTF, Jurassic, etc, in music its the same with old bands reforming etc (I am a big Stone Roses fan, and didn't mind their one, but it does seem more and more that it was just a payday).
There really doesn't seem any modern pop Culture, except for One Direction. (?)
Yet more coma-inducing football or taking an overdose. Again a hard choice.

Do you know if there was any difference between the standard trilogy and the 25th edition? I am pretty sure the standard trilogy was released here in 2010, so that would mean they released that and the 25th here?
