I've not seen one to this spec at this price. Usually it's the 32gb with the low resolution on offer at £200 and this one is usually £400. According to the specs this is :-
Intel Atom Z3735F Quad Core Processor
10.1" Full HD Touch Screen
Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional
2GB RAM
64GB SSD
Integrated Graphics
USB | HDMI
NT.L6NEK.004

I assume this has a dedicated DC power port and is not chargeable via micro USB?

it's a full laptop, it would take weeks to charge this by usb
the user manual states that it's an ac supply jack, quicker charging.
saves the need for a y-cable, and you can plug in 1 full + 1 micro usb devices when it's docked.

I can vouch for the quality of these. Good bright screen. As a tablet is a bit chunky and the keyboard is a bit cheapy plastic but a very good machine nonetheless. You can downgrade to Windows 10 for an inferior tablet experience at no cost.

I had the switch 11 on the quidco deal for £100 but had to send it back because of the touchpad. Do you have any touchpad issues? Also do you know if you can put a hard drive inside the keyboard like with the switch 11? Main reason for asking is not the extra storage but as a counterbalance as i think the laptop is a bit top heavy.

Nope. Only add if the OP has negated the resolution details. They are sometimes edited in afterwards by OP.

"Keyboard Type Not Included"
Am I stating the obvious here, and are people assuming that it comes with it?

I'm assuming it comes with the keyboard dock based on this from the acer website :-
Model Name: Aspire Switch 10 (SW5-012P)
Part Number: NT.L6NEK.004
Package contents :-
Aspire SW5-012P-17S2 Net-tablet PC
Lithium Polymer Battery
AC Adapter
Keyboard Dock
Stylus

I did and was thinking of buying based on that

Hmm. That's on the Acer web site though, not the seller. I'd like to know 100% before taking the plunge. SOL site also says "Product Type - Tablet" before saying that the keyboard isn't included.
Can the keyboard even be purchased separately?

The weight of contents pretty much confirms its the tablet and dock. The part number is how items are sold. If the seller is selling a part number then it's all contents of the box unless they have opened the box in which case it has to be listed as such.

No it wouldn't, the Dell venue pro 11 charges by micro usb just fine.

I wouldn't say the touchpad was its strongest point. I tend to use an external mouse so I don't notice it. I agree it's top heavy but quite sturdy so if you get the angle right it's okay.

Thank you  You're probably right and they just messed up their listing. Makes it a little confusing though.

I have one, regretful purchase. The hybrid feature is pointless because windows is so abysmal at being a tablet. The keyboard occasionally stops working and you need to disconnect and reconnect to get it working. Touchpad is irritating to use. Build quality is not fantastic.
