As others have said- beautiful country and lots of nice places to go. Would have to say though, have been February and it can definitely be damp and even stormy. The days can be bright and relatively warm, but the nights do get chilly.
How is the revamp of the Valletta entrance looking? I haven't managed to get there since last summer.
I do feel for them, they had a great upgrade of the transport system partnered with Aviva, only for Aviva to duck out (heard a few reasons, not enough money in it, dodgey road surfaces made maintenance costs sky high) which has left them with a shortfall of services. I'm sure they'll sort it soon enough.

Until midnight tonight, you can book these flights with BA for just a pound more, and have inclusive drinks, a snack and hold luggage. Part of their LGW flash sale.

Went to Malta a couple of years ago. Great place with plenty to see. Only ruined by the public transport system. The bus network is great but they had recently changed the buses which meant there were not enough to deal with the amount of people waiting. At best you were crammed on the buses; but usually the bus would not stop and drive past you because it was full. Ruined it for us. I'd want to know that situation had been sorted out before returning.

Situation is exactly the same with the busses. Only they took off the double car (bendy) busses and now just use the smaller ones. So even out of season they are all rammed. No way of getting on them unless you are at the start of the route.

Its not sunbathing weather. 18c in malta isn't the same as 18c in UK, sounds a bit daft but the humidity in Malta is always high so can feel a lot colder. I know as I live here. Malta is quite often promoted as a winter sun holiday and its not at all. Its cold, damp and dreary at times even though the temperature is decent enough.

It's better than here I can tell you that  but then you live there so must aware of that. We are off next Tuesday to Mellieha. Never sure I would like Malta but went last year and we all really liked it.

The weather at that time will not be great. Around 18-20c at best. Of the two featured hotels the Sunflower is Qawra/Bugibba is ok. The White Dolphin is in Qawra and isnt great. Very cheap price though.

Shame the Manchester flights seem more expensive.

Great if you have very young children not at school...
