Worked fine for me as an existing user (once i'd reset my password!). Logged in, linked my Spotify account to the PS3 and got 2 months of Spotify for 0.99 (across the web and all my devices).

Note: You can't cancel the subscription renewal via Spotify, it has to be done via the Sony Entertainment Management Console. Access it here http://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com and click on the Media tab and click Spotify.

From there click Spotify Premium (Monthly Subscription) and then you should see the blue button Cancel Automatic Renewal

Hope that helps someone who like me doesn't use the PS that much but would like to enjoy 2 months of Spotify !

No issue, maybe just set up a new account? It didn't ask for any names or such when I created, just email (which I assume can be different to your PSN) DoB and password.

And pay with your PSN active payment.

Didn't work entirely for me. Signed up for 2 months for 99p and only got 1 month free for 99p.

I currently use this to play Super Meat Boy original music and disable the game new music in settings while playing

Looked like all was okay for me, but on pressing Order and Pay wouldn't go through.

I get this message:

"The purchase cannot be completed. One or more items may have already been purchased or other requirements for purchase have not been met."

I also had the ""The purchase cannot be completed. One or more items may have already been purchased or other requirements for purchase have not been met.", possibly due to me having had a PS music account in the past. I ignored the message, setup a spotify account and linked it to my PS account - then the 99p offer popped up on the screen.

Good deal, but remember to cancel before auto-renewal

as a Xbox One owner I can say this is a small win for PS4.

I believe that you get 1 month free if you're new to premium anyway, so this is essentially 1 month free and 1 month for 99p.
I could have sworn that they were offering 2 months free for new premium subscribers not that long ago?

Maybe you are aware but if you have the Spotify app on your phone as well and go on while using the PlayStation you can connect them, you can them use your phone to browse and control the music playing through the PS4, awesome feature!

Playstations usual trick is to automatically renew the sub at full price when the trial subscription ends. For your convenience of course. You can turn this off somewhere in the settings though.

Use the App on my Iphone 6S with this on my ps4, great while playing driving games and you want to change tune quickly, just swipe !

Ahhh got it to work by signing up from the playstation.... Opened app clicked on upgrade and the 2 month offer was there

I realise none of you have time machines but this was 2 months trial for FREE up until recently, I'm just coming to the end of my 2 months, so the price has actually increased.

​Yes mate I also use that method and works a treat. When I need to control the music quickly (pause or volume control), say during a deathmatch, the controller interactive menu makes it much more quick/convenient. Saves me risk getting shot whilst reaching out for my phone. I'm very competitive on GTA Haha!
