I was looking for good deals on a PS4 on HUKD, and couldn't really find any.
As I bought my 500gb Xbox One for £249.99 with Forza Horizon 2 this year a few months ago using a deal here, I haven't been willing to spend more than £250 on a PS4.
Anyway I was looking at the deals here, couldn't find anything under £250, not even the 500gb version.
Then I checked eBay, and found a new 1tb PS4 by itself for £249.99!
To me this sounds like a good deal and I might buy one. Thought I'd post it here to get other opinions first whether this is actually a good deal or not.
It doesn't come with a game like my Xbox One did, but it does come with the new 1tb hard drive? Question mark as I haven't been keeping up with these things, not sure if the 1tb is new or been out for awhile.
Could be European or US as well.
Because it says in the description:
**Please Note: There is a 2 pin charger instead of a 3 pin. There is no difference except for the plug**
Anyway give your opinions and votes. I'm not too sure the rules on posting on eBay deals. But this seller over 8000 feedback and 99.8% positive, so I think it'll be ok.

Agree i am using a 500gb machine and i am starting to struggle managing storage space even though i don't think i have gamed that heavy last few years.
I would like to install a 2TB the only thing that is stopping me is i have the p.t game on my current hard drive would it be possible to back that file up then transfer to new HD? how would i do that?

I have the older model downstairs with a 2tb hard drive fitted and the new 1tb model upstairs in the bedroom and can homestly say theres no difference in noise or temp between the two

Well that's not true. It does get around 2 degrees hotter in a more concentrated area but it's typically half as loud under load.

Price dropping, Sony running in fear of the Xbox's increased popularity!

The model number is different, the whole chassis is matte finish (instead of the shiny upper section on older models) The eject and power touch buttons have been replaced with physical buttons.

Worth mentioning, TCB also pay out 1.05% now too with ebay purchases. £2.60 is better in our pockets.

Just pointing out also that this is the older model. I don't even own a ps4 but would certainly want the new model when I do bite the bullet.

I've read that the new chassis models sound like a jet engine when they get up to temperature.

Just curious - how easy is it to move all of your games/saves/etc from the installed hard disk to the new one?

I do not wish to over complicate matters but it may be a better deal all round to buy a 500GB PS4 whose prices have been pushed down by the presence of the 1TB machines then buy and fit a 2TB HDD.
Argos have the HDD's for around £55 to £60.
You end up paying a bit more but you end up with a more future proof machine. The upgrade process takes time but is really easy.

Unless you're really uncomfortable with the slightly tech process of swapping out the HD, I'd be inclined to do this as well.
If you're the sort of person that thinks you're going to have so many games and not managed the space that 500GB isn't enough, 1000GB would surely be a problem for you as well. I'd go for a 500GB machine first and swap out the HD later.
Really Sony and MS should have released 2TB editions of their consoles instead of 1TB, it's not enough of a difference to warrant such a difference in price.

Just what I was thinking. I have one of the original 500GB models, and it was a piece of cake to take the drive out and put a 2TB one in. Took about 5 minutes.
