I've seen deals for the Intel compute stick, but this one is slightly cheaper.
It updates to windows 10. Looks like a good deal.
Very tempted to put one behind my TV.

Not the same device but there's a review of the recent MeeGopad T04 here;
Pay attention to the way MeeGopad responded to how to active windows - short of it; hack / pirate it!

32GB is likely to be the eMMC storage rather than a Read-Only Memory.

Flash memory?

ROM is read only memory. Something like a DVD Video where there's no way to rewrite it. It's possible it's got a 32GB ROM chip with some fixed content on it (bundled videos maybe) but given that it's also listed as having 32GB storage (the eMMC drive, which is a flash memory package) it seems likely to be a mistake.

Found this link for those contemplating between Old and New
This comparison is the newer Cherry Trail Z8300 replacing the Z3735F. Someone mentioned X8500 but that isn't same tier as these 2. And the Z8500 isn't in many consumer products unlike the more common Z8300
Not that much in it overall but some clear headway on the GPU side. Supports 4K, H265 so bonus for future Media Playback

Funny how they appropriated Nokia/Intel's now defunct "Meego" name...

That's never going to happen. The Z8300 supports 2GB max.

Are there any computer usb sticks that can do 4k 60hz for typing (not gaming)?

4k 30Hz I presume.

Of late (like its 'Android' Sticks equivalent before it), a lot of these Windows Sticks are popping up like mushrooms!, lol, but my question in all this is, are they any good though?, or ..... (more curious in a future reference kind of way, more Tha anything else ... ) thanx. :-)

Nuts, got mixed up. Z8300 still better than the Z3735F though.

I've got a Tronsmart Ara X5 with the Z8300 and it does more than anything that I have used with a Z3735 series box/stick.
Handles 4k with ease in Kodi and is preinstalled with Windows 10, has a 64bit UEFI Bios and a USB 3 port.
The GPU element is a great improvement.
£30 more expensive than this but worth the extra IMO.

You know this has got the windows 8.1 with bing? Well here's my question...
Does anyone know if I upgrade to windows 10, will I lose bing? I don't want to buy it and be disappointed.
I really like bing.

Getting there on price, still think they need to be sub-£50, but this is best currently

Nifty little machines but for the same price or a little more you can get something similar but with an 8" touchscreen and rechargeable battery built in which I think is a lot more versatile. This is obviously somewhat smaller than a tablet but is there any benefit to that?

if you wanna put it behind your TV and not take it out again then this would be more suitable than a tablet (eg if your little boy would inevitably pull out and smash a tablet if left on a loose wire hanging out the back of the TV)
