INCLUDES: The Ripper DLC - that packs a powerful V8 engine, upgraded exhaust with custom off-road tires, a ramming grill and a tuned suspension
Descend into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Mad Max, where ammo is sparse and the key to survival is the possession of a car. Take control of Mad Max and stay alive amongst the savage gangs of bandits who roam the desolate desert. Use using vicious on-ground and vehicular combat to ensure your own survival.
Following the theft of his iconic Interceptor, Max must align himself with a gifted, but peculiar, mechanic named Chumbucket and others to build the ultimate war vehicle as he works to escape from the dangerous Wasteland.
Features
Be Mad Max - Become the iconic post-apocalyptic warrior, crafting and upgrading Max’s equipment and weapons to survive by combining melee combat, gunplay and tactical techniques. Gamers must make difficult decisions as they work towards the goal of escaping The Wasteland.
Immersive Primal Wasteland - Explore the gritty, dynamic world while braving the treacherous landscapes, hostile weather patterns and deadly gangs of marauders.
Trash is Treasure - Every scrap that’s scavenged is important and can be utilized to upgrade and enhance equipment, weapons and vehicles. Gamers raid enemy encampments to gain access to valuable resources.
Survive the Open-World Landscape - Staying alive isn’t easy. Players clash with deadly factions and gangs through scores of dangerous side-missions and quests in the dynamic open-world full of exploration.
Intense Vehicular Combat - Engage in dynamic inter-vehicular combat, taking down enemy vehicles with a range of powerful weapons. Car combat is entirely physics-based, so no two battles are ever the same.
Build the Ultimate War Machine - Players design, customize and upgrade their ultimate combat vehicle—the Magnum Opus—choosing from different car bodies and a slew of upgrades including mounted weapons, armor and engines to survive another day.

OBVIOUSLY if you thought this was good, every one else was paid off! Every one's a suspect! It's averaging 70-74/100 on metacritic, so it barely got slated. MGS is amazing, and reviewed well because of that. Mad Max just came out at the wrong time.

Take Batman, strip out the puzzles and add Brutal Legend driving.
My biggest problem is the pretty horrible voice acting and script and Max just being an all around bore and doesn't convey any emotion at any time to anything that's happening around him. Max's model is also completely uninspired.
That's not to say it isn't fun but i've seen some people going over the top with their opinion of this game. It's unexpectedly okay and they're acting like it's GOTY.

I recommend it. The price up front is a little more (although some builds exist that can match a consoles performance for the same money... and some extra effort), but computers are infinitely more useful than a dedicated gaming appliance.
And once you have a PC you have access to Steam. That means cheaper games (unless very new) and Steam sales where games are massively discounted.
But thats just the start. Steam has Family (and friends) Sharing. Using this I have free access to the hundreds of games my mate has in his library, and he has access to all mine. As an example he has been waiting months for the new Metal Gear Solid game, but he cant afford to buy it right now. But its no problem, I have it in my library so he can download, install, play and earn his own achievements ect... for free because I've added him as a family sharer on my account! And all it takes to do this is about 3 mouse clicks!
I got the MGS game as a gift from Nvidia, so I didn't have to buy it either.

10 Sep 15#100
And? Not as if cracks for new games is something we're unfamiliar with. This is a fair price, so i don't think it's fair to abuse it by torrenting it. As for Metal gear solid, it is a single and multi player. So you have to buy the game if you want to play both.

Definitely have to agree. I recently invested in a gaming PC. Having a Xbox one and ps4 I can quite easily say I much prefer the PC, I think this may be because I'm addicted to GTA 5 lol it's so pretty. The only draw back is there are games consoles which I can't get and obviously on a console games are optimised for the platform they are intended for, whereas on pc you have to tweak and find the optimal performance if over clocking. But yeah both have their pros and cons and game prices is a massive con for consoles.

Even though family sharing is great, the sharing system on consoles does sound better. I have did family sharing before, but some games don't partake in the sharing system. Or at least they didn't the last time i played them. Also, you both couldn't play at the same time like you can on consoles.
So hopefully we PC gamers can also share every single game & Play at the same time, sometime soon.
