I queried that with them on live chat and they confirmed it's a pair of free axle stands and is automatically added with qualifying purchases.
Then after reserving for collection went and bought a trolley jack with a pair of quick release stands (stands worth £60) for £20 and forfeited the £1 cashback.

even though it does say "Free Halfords trolley stand" on the site, If you add the trolly jack to your basket, the site automatically adds the axle stands and applies the discount.

I've have this set must be over 10 years now nothing wrong with it jack still works fine usually get 1 or 2 holes on the stands which is enough to get under my Golf, I have also bought in the last year a 4 x 4 jack to get the car to 500-600mm off the ground but not with these stands I have heavy duty stands (6 tonne). If you need the jack to go higher just use a lump of 4x2 timber on top of the jack to gain another 2" lift no brainer really, but it is a slow process jacking a car to a good height I also have a low entry jack plus another set of 2 tonne stands to help in the process :wink:

some good ones on ebay that are low profile and lift upto 2.5 tons
low profile pic up 85mm and raise upto 455mm so you can put axel stands underneath
good if your looking for future proof jack that can lift most cars you may own for £69.99

Bought this yesterday from Eurocarparts. Sealey Jack for £25, ok it doesnt come with Axel stands but I already have a pair at home with a knackered Trolley Jack from Halfrauds. Thought Id buy a better quality Jack and use my current Axel Stands in future.
Funny enough that's exactly what the mot guys do when a VAG car pulls up for testing

I've got this jack , it's rubbish to be fair. It will not lift my car high enough to put the Jack stands under , I end up using the supplied scissor Jack out my boot.
