I was there last Friday and the queues for the Halloween stuff, the Saw Maze, Big Top etc etc were around 2 hours. It worked well for us as the rest of the park was pretty quiet and we didn't wait for more than about 15 minutes for anything else.
That said, if you're going for the scary stuff then expect to wait. Good price for four people though, just remember the £5 parking fee each day as well

Went in 2014 and found the same thing with queues. What we did to minimise the waits was look at the five (that year) houses and strike off the one that was rated lowest for scares (Blair Witch as it was), then get fast passes for the three middle ones at £5pp before joining the queue for the first maze early (took about 20 mins to get in). We then went and queued for Blair Witch as the wait time had gone right down later in the night.
Even the fast pass queues could be 30+ mins!
Parking is usually included in the onsite hotel deals, FWIW.

I went last Sunday. the 'long' queue times are exaggerated to encourage you to buy Fast Track Passes. The longest we waited was half an hour even though we were told it was a 70 minute wait. Fast track passes do get you through quite quickly though.

how good are these scare houses compared to Alton Towers?
I have been going to Alton Towers for Halloween for the last 5 years and love it, but would just like to know from people how good Thorpe Park is. for Halloween

I went last saturday (the 10th) it was packed the mazes opened at 3 and we managed to get in the queue for cabin in the woods and waited an hour but that was all we did as others were 2 hours but were actually longer as the signs didnt go more than 2 hours. The blair witch wasnt open till 6 and the big top was constantly 2 hours. We lined up for my bloody valentine but it broke down mid queue and everyone started climbing over the barriers. So after this we went home. Saying that the queues in the daytime were not too bad it was a case of catching them at the righg time. But saw the ride we think as it was halloween related was busy allday and we had to obtain fast passes to get on. But word to the wise if your looking to do mazes then be prepared to queue not ride as 12 hours seems alot but isnt when you take into account the queue times and i wouldnt recommend booking on the first weekend of fright nights
