I literally use mine just to login with face recognition. Lazy? Yes. Worth it? Also yes!

I found the face recognition to be quite stupid as you had to hold up your controller as well so it could assign a colour, within that time I usually just press x lol

Good deal but have had zero use out of mine since release, at least with Kinect I have Skype but the PS4 lost the PS3's video chat feature that I used to use a lot.
Would be useful for Morpheus, but wouldn't be surprised if they came out with a Camera V2 at the time of the Morpheus release.
Good deal for people that want to play Rabbids Invasion I guess.

So, is there any use for this other than The Playroom and streaming? I would quite like to try The Playroom anyway, but if it's just that then I would be better off just trying to borrow it.

You can...however it's useless at it lol as said above playroom and streaming will literally be the only thing this is used for unless Sony sort something out. You can use this in the just dance games too but camera doesn't pick you up that well...won't pick up my 5 year old at all?
