lets be honest, £20 is a steal for EA Access, but if you can get it cheaper then why not hey!
Change your region to Hungary, use this address
Vigyázó Ferenc utca 5., 1051 Budapest, Hungary (or any other address in Hungary)
make sure you use a credit card that wont freak out at you using it with a different billing address, I use the post office one and they don't care, it is as easy as making a cup of coffee

£20 in the UK, how many members do you think are aware that is is available cheaper with a simple region switch? Ergo a deal

For some reason, people seem to hate these region change deals, but heat added. Thanks for sharing, OP.

That and this has been pointed out on a fair few threads before (although not formally in a deal post) :stuck_out_tongue:

As with many things on HDUK, depends who posts them.

Ah, I see. I've never seen it before. I don't know why I never considered it could be bought through the store by changing your region.

I love them personally I think if you are willing to put the effort in the savings are worth it I went with the Metal gear solid Japan deal and got that cheap with dishonoured as well (bought the credit from play-asia)

Heat added. Everyone is fine with USA psn stuff or using a vpn for pc games. Cheaper the better.

Always found that a bit odd really. PC I think people are a bit meh about it, but on PS nobody cares even though you need a different psn account :stuck_out_tongue: Yeah you will do unless you use a card without them. Yeah its been there from the beginning - Hungary is one of the easier ones as I notice transactions within the EU don't seem to care too much about addresses, try buying outside of the EU and debit/credit cards don't seem to like it
It has been this price for months, and has been pointed out in multiple threads that include EA access (from memory) that Hungary is generally the cheapest way to go about EA access. That said the reason this isn't hot is probably why it wasn't posted to begin with - nobody on here seems to like jumping through the hoops for whatever reason.

Just the region, no vpn needed

I did this for EA access and rare replay. I never had to use a Hungary address though, I just used my regular address though I think I did have to mess about with my postcode because Hungary doesn't use the same format.
Did get a non sterling transaction fee each time but was pretty small (less than 50p).

Ok great, I also do a game share with my buddy, will he be able to use it also? Ie if I purchased it can he download the games from ea access app?

How do we know if the Credit Card is good to use? Wish they had other options to pay for it. Like the way we buy PS+ and Xbox Gold.

I'm not able to purchase content from the Hungarian store using the card I was once able to use, so I think they're cracking down on this.
Aeschylus to DexMorgan
27 Aug 15#16
It is much more likely to be your credit card, they don't simply just block the odd card, it either works or it does not, there is no middle ground, I have had the post office card flag me once, just had to call them up and tell them to quit it

Yes they are and it's probably because of idiots posting deal threads like this one instead of keeping it on the low.

No, but you can not use said credit in a different region, as soon as you change back to UK your credit will be there for use

No, but you won't be able to use it until you switch back.

It doesn't transfer from region but it will stay there when you switch back. That's doing it on a console I'm not sure about doing it on a pc as if you do it on there you can accidentally switch your entire account to abroad.

Old news to me but i would ask whether you have tried this recently as when I tried it last week it wouldn't work and I've bought a lot of things from the Hungarian store before with no issues, may have just been an issue with the store.

I always wait for the download to finish before switching back but shouldn't make much difference. Gutted they stopped India and Hong Kong last year that was very good for my wallet

I changed home consoles with my nephew yesterday and he is able to download the games I have bought digitally but when it comes to EA Access, he cannot download them using his console (which is now set to my home console).
Am I right in saying that I have to download the games from EA Access myself, and then my nephew can download them, but he has not got instant joint membership to EA Access himself, just by changing your home consoles?
Also I have noticed that the games that I have already downloaded from EA Access ie BF4 do not come up at the end of his home feed but if he searches for BF4 and clicks on it, he can download it for nothing, presumably because I already have it. I downloaded NHL, Plants Vs Zombies and UFC today so that hopefully he can download them too.
Has anybody else had the same experience with EA Access and exchanging home consoles?

He has to use the ea access app to download the games you have through ea access

Is there some sort of filter I'm missing to filter region changing or VPN requirements for deals?
Nothing against people who post or use these deals, but it's starting to get annoying having these constantly popping up, after hearing about Microsoft punishing accounts that tried region changing I want nothing to do with these types of deals.
