True, the 11kg is much more manageable - but value wise, the 19kg is a far better deal - but as neither requires a deposit, you're saving £30 on most places anyway.

As my 6kg cylinder tap leaked and was empty by the second use (yes I did do the tap up properly) I have you ordered this 19kg which is a very similar price to what I paid for the 6kg - cheers

Got the 13kg on the last offer. Delivery is a bit haphazard but got it eventually, the driver was even pleasant not grumpy!

I bought the 13kg Butane bottle from them Monday at just gone 12pm, delivered by 10am Tuesday, fantastic service received here.

Unusually they also have the motorhome/caravan friendly tins of 6kg propane for only 15 quid.

are the connectors any different? yes the patio gas we're using is just propane gas just querying the connector from the bottle to the hose of the bbq, will they need a different adapter?

thanks for that but as no-one has commented on them may just buy from these guys, payment via paypal also, seems a bit more secure (maybe?). Also with the gasbottle site no mention as to who they are, their contact address etc... seems a bit strange (as far as i know all sites must state their full company details by law).

Does anyone know the best place to get the 5l 'patio gas' propane tanks from - these have the quick connect fitment B&Q do the refills for £27 but no idea what the tank costs...

That's based on them collecting the same bottle from me...
The website seems fubared at the mo though, and yeah, I paid through paypal, estimated 5 day turn around time...

​i have used them in the past a guy came with a truck with loads of bottles apparently they use depots up and down the UK, it was delivered about 3 days after I ordered and I didn't have any exchange bottle

For the 11kg or 19kg? I spoke to them today, as I ordered the 11kg, and they confirmed its on its way to me in a few days.

Avoid the company. Once you order you will get a call saying that they have to charge you extra if you do not have an empty return. What a fraud.

I orderd two 19kg bottles, and they delivered no questions asked about bottle exchange.

Got an email yesterday confirming my order was completed yet nothing had been delivered, sent an email to them last night querying what the meant, no response so-far

Nothing shady in this company at all. I'm guessing they use local depots, so the timing of deliveries will vary from place to place - e.g. I ordered the day I spotted this deal, and my gas cylinder arrived yesterday.

So if have 19kg cylinder there is no requirement for an empty one
But if you want a smaller one you need to pay a £30 ish deposit

I ordered Friday, had the completed email Tuesday, called this morning to say where is my gas bottle..

None whatsoever.

same here, they haven't responded to my queries, no gas bottle delivered yet. no refund received. will wait till this w/e if nothing will raise the paypal dispute. won't be using them in the future as their cust svce seems non-existent, i wonder if its 1 guy in his garage off-loading these?

Nothing dodgy about the deal. They are a re-seller for FloGas. I ordered on Thursday afternoon and got the delivery on Monday afternoon 2pm.

The 19kg bottle requires a screw in regulator. You can swap your quick-click with a screw in regulator (available on Amazon for £6) and it still works out very cheap considering no swap out or prior deposit is required. Bottle isn't huge - about 3ft high and manageable to be moved around.

​If you read the instructions that came with your barbecue you will find that for safety reasons you shouldn't put the gas cylinder under it.

Order completed on Tuesday morning, so far noting yet.

We've just made a claim on paypal against this buyer, seems to be a supplier you should avoid. NO replies to emails, NO communication whatsoever bar the order has been completed. Useless company

I've received mine approx. one week from ordering. Driver left a delivery note with Flogas logo, so assume Gas Deals act as intermediatery. Not the best comms, but the fact that you don't need an empty cylinder makes it a hot deal.

for us its been over 10 days now still no sign of it, no communication. have raised a paypal dispute. not a good company to buy from, seems very hit/miss whether you get the bottles or not, overall won't be using them again.

Took about 4 days to get an email acknowledging the order, but that was over the bank holiday. Nothing delivered a week later so rang the number on the website and spoke to a pleasant operator who said my area was serviced daily and she'd email the distributor. I said to leave it behind the bins if no-one in. Received the 19kg bottle a couple of days later - left behind the bins.

All in all maybe a couple of weeks and a chase up phone call, so not bad for the price. Just need to order a screw in regulator now as I didn't realise 27mm clip on BBQ regulator doesn't fit.

What do you need the regulator for? Do you have any pics of the top end of the fuel can, as its not shown on the website clearly.
