I reserved a set at kettering got a call 3 hours later saying it was out of stock. went down to store to look for something else and found this set on the shelf???? I told the cashier what had happened and she said it must have been out if stock when I reserved it...when did you reserve it she asked?...3 hours ago I said. just got a text now (after store is closed) telling me to go in and collect item?

Somebody will have reserved it but gone over their cut off date for collection so it's gone back into availability and you were next in line. Congrats. Jealous I am! Been watching out for something like this for weeks as my old set is seriously knackered then when I find it nothing near me but in my usual kind angelic fashion flagged it up for you lot.

I didn't get one either sadly but it was worth posting for others. Thanks for the heat. Lot of people on here don't seem to bother these days just grab a deal and don't contribute anything not even a thanks. I remember the days when HUKD was a much nicer kinder place to hang out. Grumble, grumble........

This company are well known for showing stock available to collect & then it's not !
So I definitely wouldn't travel any distance without ringing the store first to check availability.

I think that seems to be the case with a lot of them now. Wilkos have just driven me nuts! However at least Dunelm don't drag you through a whole long winded registration process, take your money and confirm by email THEN cancel. You get a quick yes or no email from them and then it's pay at collection.

There were plenty in various stores over 30 miles from me ( south east) but it wasn't worth me making the trip just for this. It's going to be snapped up I guess but worth a look.
