I wouldn't bother with 4D golf tbh. I used to live 5 minutes away from Xscape and 4D Golf is the worst thing there. It's basically a really pants mini golf that's had neon paint splashed around. Such a waste of money imo. I only posted it because I know there'll be people who still go to it not knowing how rubbish it is, and i'm hoping to soften the blow by making it cheaper for them :smile:

Thanks! I've trawled the net & the only thing I could see was a HUKD post from years ago mentioning cheaper tickets being sold at the Royal Oaks? shopping centre but I'm not sure if it still does sell them! Was hoping someone who lives in Chester or nearby could advise.

Here you go knew I had the link somewhere -we've used these before can save you money on 2 fr 1 entry etc: http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk this is for all areas as far as see - so if traveling by train you can discount vouchers for attractions etc - in some cases it works out cheaper to buy a short distance train ticket just to get the vouchers!

We enjoyed it when we went - was quite a few years ago when my children were younger - you get to see them making and blowing glass, there are marbles etc there and marble runs. The obligatory cafe and shop of course as well :smile:

Worth checking your local train companies if traveling by train for 2 for 1 offers on attractions -London ones are always available but you can get ones for other areas.
Tastecard - if you are a Tastecard+ member then in addition to the money off dining you get other offers as well, this is only Tastecardplus though - savings can be had in days out by buying through them take a look if you have it.
On a general note http://www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk lists loads of places to take the kids - you can select by area - may be useful to someone going away to a different county or just looking to entertain the kids a bit :smiley:

I wouldn't bother with 4D golf tbh. I used to live 5 minutes away from Xscape and 4D Golf is the worst thing there. It's basically a really pants mini golf that's had neon paint splashed around. Such a waste of money imo. I only posted it because I know there'll be people who still go to it not knowing how rubbish it is, and i'm hoping to soften the blow by making it cheaper for them :smile:
