I purchased these for £70 early this year form Richer Sounds to replace a old pair of Wharfdale Delta 30.2. The sound difference is very noticeable, and certainly worth the price. As long as you drive them accordingly you will not be disappointed. I noticed that the depth of the speaker cabinets seem rather big compared to the Wharfdales I had before, so it does take a bit of getting used to if using wall mounted swivel brackets ( AVG Type ). I also prefer to leave the grill on the front, as they do not fit into my wife's approval on looks. Either way, a really good speaker, and quite low frequency response. Shame this deal is not the Tannoy mercury V2, the low end on them is so much better.

Mate, quick google of that - what a fantastic track. Will be downloading Placebo's back-catalogue. I remember Nancy Boy from way back when and that was (and still is) epic. Well, to me at least. :sunglasses:
Friday night sorted. Oh, and the speaker deal? Not sure, but I bet Placebo sounds mint through them! (Yes, I have no frame of reference whatsoever, except Tannoy's high standing in the loudspeaker sector).

Just so nobody becomes confused, these are passive.
Great speakers, got them for £99 a year or two back to use as rear surround speakers. Paired with Onkyo AVR.
