Bought a pair of both trouser and shorts with the knee cushion. Trousers fit extremely well and very comfy. Paid full price though

Still loads left in my local ALDI. Picked up a couple of pairs at the weekend. Really nice quality.

£8.99 full price!. £20-£40+ for something similar on Amazon or through Dickies.
I've been wearing these for years and have just bought another two pairs today. Absolutely perfect for working in. Strong, loads of pockets, loose fitting, elastic waist and wash well.
I also have a couple of pairs of their work boots as well. Those are just the same as the Site or Dickies trainer safety boots that they sell in Screwfix just for less money.
Prefer the black work socks they sell in Asda though. Wear well and you get more for your money.

the work socks have been described by my son in law, a bricklayer, as the best work socks he has ever had!

It's a good thing you didn't buy these then - they have the zip at the front, not the back.

I purchased some of these last time they were on sales. Very rough on the knees. If you kneel down a lot when working, these aren't for you. Buy some proper trade ones.

As posted above, these are down to £3.99 in some branches. They are good value at £3.99 - heavy cotton, but not that hard wearing I would say.
