Don't forget that it costs you £5 to park every time you visit. Such a rip off when they charge a fortune to get in anyway.

I read the t&c's yesterday tea time and it quite clearly said an annual pass holder can get up to 5 people in on 1 pass for £5 each from July-sept, i re-read this a million times. I've made the decision to buy the passes and now it states only 1 ticket per pass...did anyone else read/notice this???
hayeth to Bargain_Buster
26 Jun 15#63
Yes you are right. They changed it some time yesterday. Also it allowed purchase of 5 ticket at £5 online yesterday but that got taken away too. I also bought my child's annual pass based on the same assumption as you! Now we have to take her separately as she can only bring one in at £5.

You get a pdf file (emailed to you) which you print out and take with you. You show this at the gate and they let you in to get your ID cards made for the annual pass.

Does this mean that you have to go to the park and pay to get in before you can redeem your annual pass and get a refund for the day you go?

I know this is a good deal already, but can you pay for it by Tesco vouchers or nectar points? feel bad for being greedy:)
Good deal only problem is that Q-Bot's are essential and cost an arm and a leg.

26 Jun 15#57
We went on a 2 day ticket earlier this year and loved it. Q-Bots are not essential at all. We were there all day and went on most things and mopped up the left overs the next day. They are annoying as you think you are going to be 2 goes away from getting on and then 3 families with Q-Bot roll up but apart form that they are not needed at all.

I know some of you would think it is a stupid question but why do you want to go there for a year If you can get tickets from Sun twice this year for much cheaper?!

Is it because the 'free' Sun tickets I always see are for weekdays which is no good for school age kids.
I agree only going twice just covers your money back but at least this gives you flexibility on when you want to go rather than a fixed day.

buddn07
26 Jun 15#51
Agreed!
The wife is a childminder, so fortunately we got discounted tickets, but even at those prices it was still an overpriced walk round looking at dated models.
The Star Wars bit was cool, as it was all moving, but the rest has been there for years, with a couple of updates (the lego movie stars on the red carpet for example).
buddn07
26 Jun 15#46
If you're an adult planning on going without kids... Don't bother!
I'm a fan of Lego so the Mrs bought us tickets to go for the day and we both agreed it was rubbish! Extremely overpriced.
A few decent models, but not anywhere near worth the money!
bob99999 to buddn07

we stopped at the premier inn bracknell it was fine for one night, and about 15mins away from the park. The £5 tickets are from july to september only. One ticket per annual pass holder. q bot starts at £15 per person per visit. Our passes are about to run out and we've never bothered.

live in this area, reading is best bet. Windsor Maidenhead aren't great for hotels and bracknell is a dump.

Annual pre school pass is great value if you have kids aged 3-5. Can't use it during school holidays or weekends, but it's £60 for the child and a guardian (anyone over 16) to enter the park for a year. Got one today

Let me clear a few things up for you, as I live nearby and go there regularly. Legoland only has one type of annual pass now - which is like the old premium pass - IT DOES INCLUDE PARKING. This is the lowest price since January 2013. I was waiting for a sale like this but got tired of waiting a month ago and paid the considerably higher renewal prices. This deal is red hot if you want an annual pass.

25 Jun 151#25
,
Parking definitely not included on the standard pass, it's because most of the staff are students and don't care - which is probably the most likely the reason for the recent accident at Alton Towers which is owned by the same company.

I've had a standard pass and I've never paid for parking when visiting there. You just show your pass at the barriers. I think there is premium parking at Legoland which is closer to the resort which might incur extra charges.

stupid question but when you add customer details, do you have to add each family member's name you are buying for? I've just added my name, as the debit card holder? Will they add individual names when we go to get the physical card pass?

i just rang and if you order online and pick up when you want to go there then the year pass will start then. If you order now and have it delivered the pass will start now. You have to order the annual pass first, and then will be given a pass number. You can then buy the £5 tickets using the pass number hope it helps.

Am i right in thinking that you dont actually get your annual pass untill you have actually physically gone to the park and exchanged your online ticket for your annual pass. Meaning you have to actual go to legoland and have your photo taken and exchanged your ticket for an annual pass with a pass number before you can buy the £5 tickets and all within the next 48 hours?
