Finn, the human boy with the awesome hat, and Jake, the wise dog, are close friends and partners in strange adventures in the land of Ooo. Originally included in the Internet short sensation Random! Cartoons, this series follows Finn and Jake as they embark on a series of bizarre and unique adventures. So whether it's an Ice King kidnapping a princess or ninjas stealing diamonds from an old man, one thing is certain -- it's Adventure Time.

Interesting :stuck_out_tongue: I myself don't bother watching it on TV as it literally is just the same 5 or 6 episodes regardless - and I'm pretty sure the streams I watch are American anyway.

No, there are definitely episodes which haven't been cleared for UK broadcast. I wrote the A-Z for Penguin book which comes out in September, and there were characters and items I wasn't allowed to refer to because they're not going to be shown in the UK.

I would at least try it, it's pretty absurd sometimes but the humour is definitely clever and funny as hell. Jake (the dog) is voiced by the guy who voices Bender from Futurama (also Marcus Fenix in Gears of War games), John DiMaggio, so you know he's gonna be good.

Great price but the UK release of season 2 isn't complete, it's missing at least 2 episodes, just so people know.

I've added heat as seems a great price but can anyone tell me what this would be similar too,if it's something like Rick and Morty i'll be all over it.

this is such a good cartoon, I wouldn't say it's similar to Rick and Morty, but the only non-mainstream cartoons in the UK that I watch are Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Rick and Morty.
I'm open to suggestions everyone btw

In the US it's pitched more at adults, so a lot of episodes have never been shown here in the UK. Amazing show, but even better if you can get hold of the unscreened episodes.

To be honest I feel its just the usual BS of us being a few seasons behind. That and the ungodly amount of repeats of one or two episodes whenever a new season is out, with some of the other episodes only being shown once :stuck_out_tongue:

this is wasted on kids, probably 80% of the humour will go over their head. It's great for adults who grew up with proper cartoons (80s, early 90s babies). Each ep so about 10mims longs so you can easily binge on it or watch it on your commute if you don't mind funny looks over your shoulder lol.
