Please don't be rude about someone's use of English, we (the English) are awful at other languages. Prity's comment does make sense. Thank you Prity. Google translate is a bit of a joke, just enjoy it and be positive.
I think Lidl Silver crest equipment is great.
making coffee; grind it fine! don't use bags.

If you need a bargain espresso machine, this will be fine. Silvercrest's last Lidl espresso machine was also made by De Longhi Italy. So tick for quality. And the 3 year warranty is a real plus. Mine had a few issues and it was quickly resolved by them (and they paid postage). The negative amazon reviews don't really add up to much. You can expect a machine to be noisy! Don't worry about the filter basket sticking. It's not unusual. You just lift it out! If you look around you can find other sites reviews and you tube has some reviews. One point, but more for real devotees, is that it uses pressurised filter baskets. The plus is you get a crema using any grind of coffee (not just fine, espresso grind), so it's usable with any prepacked coffee but the minus is it's not a true crema. But most domestic espresso machines are like this now, at least sub £300 ones. My experience of many different machines over the years is they're not massively different from each other, in their core function, a bit like blu ray players. Buy and enjoy.

Like the retro style and looks good value with a 3yr warranty.
I believe its just a re branded one of these. Even has the cafe retro logo still on it! Its not great with ratings but saying that, Lidl is half the price of this version. And I'm hoping Lidl will do the black option like is available here, as i'll probably take a punt.

Yep it is - both have the clear Cafe Retro wording as well as design. Such mixed reviews though - but worth a put at less than half amazon price?
thank you so much , it looks nice.thinking of to get one as i like latte.

Sorry i thought this was hotUKdeals rather than hotENGLISHdeals so that should really be British  However totally agree with the rest of your statement.
Did you get a cream one? Or see any? My store didn't supply that colour want to know if it exists? Thanks!

Did you get the Lidl News? On page 8 bottom section right hand reads - The Silvercresr Espresso Machine, Kettle and Toaster are available in a choice of colours.
Then next to this it displays three choices which week on week everything comes in at least three colours. You have either Red, Cream & The bad boy "BLACK". Happy days !!! Your very welcome. *sigh of relief all round*

Looks better than any previous domestic expresso machines. Has a tank you refill, with previous machines you had to put the right amount of water in the machine for one or two hits, then start from scratch again while the first got cold. I went back to using my old 'traditional stove top expresso maker'. Check out the manual http://www.lidl-service.com/cps/rde/SID-7276481B-68C616F4/lsp/hs.xsl/product.html?id=114367242&rdeLocaleAttr=en&title=Espresso%20Machine
on line manuals!!!! Another good reason for going with Lidl, and the 3 year guarantees

It has something called ThermoCream, which is quite common in consumer espresso machines. These gadgets supposedly make it easier to get a crema on a shot of espresso - which is often seen as a sign of a good espresso. Unfortunately if you "cheat", having a crema doesn't mean much - the espresso won't taste any better. I recommend not using this system (if that's possible with this model) and getting good quality, freshly roasted coffee and grinding it freshly.
Destroys good coffee. OK for people who know no better though

Sounds pretty bad, wouldnt bother after reading this
This is a good looking machine, it heats up quite quickly and makes decent coffee however the handle assembly is very poorly designed resulting more often than not in the the coffee basket sticking in the machine when the handle is removed. Turning on the water for a couple of seconds with the handle unlocked will dislodge it but results in coffee and grounds splashing on the machine.
The pump is rather noisy and you do have wait for a minute or so between making the coffee and the steam boiler getting up to temperature.
The steam wand is ok although not as powerful as I was used to on my previous machine.
This would have been a four star review if it were not for the handle assembly - as it is, I can't recommend this coffee maker..

Bought one today as its cheaper than repairing my older more expensive machine.
Makes good hot coffee and froths milk quickly, as mentioned negative Amazon reviews by people not used to using these type of machines.
3yr warranty bargain

Just watched both videos and noticed in the first the coffee only comes out of 1 spout but has 2 , generally the idea of having 2 spouts is to make 2 shots side by side which I do a lot - anyone here who has one had any issues?
I notice in the second video it seems to be ok? (just about). Maybe it was just the woman doing it wrong, but I can't see how.

Just bought one of these and as it cost less than my electric kettle I am very impressed. There are no problems that I have found. I have never had a coffee machine before so I need more practice with frothing the milk etc but I have had no trouble with the handle etc like some other reviews. All in all very pleased and it looks good in the black in my kitchen. :-)

Just about to take my second machine back to store, it keeps cutting out after 1 second . You have to hold the on/off rocker switch whilst switching the coffee switch. Not ideal

I bought this espresso machine last year and it's barely working. I've don't drink much coffee and thought it would at least last a couple of years ? It's around 7 months ,does anyone one else have this problem? And what can I do about it? any advice would be much appreciated

Funnily enough mine seems to be giving up. The steam wand stopped working this morning after being used weekly since May. Now need to try and find the receipt...

I don't suppose anyone has a receipt for theirs? mines broken and to get it repaired under warranty I need a receipt, mine faded too much to be even slightly legible. it wouldn't affect your own ability to claim under warranty at a later date. just need a photo of it.
thank you.

The De'Longhi KG79 is a good budget grinder that's capable of grinding finely enough for espresso (you may have to modify it slightly - http://geekandgrind.tumblr.com/post/17171106555/hacking-a-dehlonghi-coffee-grinder )
Every Lidl helps - unless you are Tescos!
