just booked Great option for a relaxed getaway in London for one night
Stayed at Park Plaza Westminster last month. The couldn't find the booking on their system, whole process took an hour. They had to upgrade our room, as having not got our booking on their system, they sold out of the cheap rooms. We got given a studio room, and given a free bottle of wine to say sorry, delivered to our room on a silver platter in a bucket of ice. We politely declined their first offer of a soft drink in the bar.
Would've totally screwed someone over had they been planning evening events. We stayed for a bargain, but didn't know we had to put up with shoddy service. They failed to follow Lastminute's backup process to retrieve booking information.
It was clear the hotel's focus was on those staying for a week or more, on business and rich folk from abroad.
At least the wine was nice!

Stayed at the Park Plaza, Riverbank on Friday night. It was stunning. Just checked my bank statement now though and I've noticed this:

I guess if anyone else books any other hotels, could be helpful to post up what you got!

This is a very good deal. It has to be valid for stays until 31 October. I'm searching for 7-13 Ocotber anywhere in the UK and none rooms are available.
Where did you find this???? Always wanted to stay in that hotel when I go pass it!

Ended up booking over the phone as the website wouldn't allow consecutive nights and I didn't want to risk booking separately. Got 2 rooms for 3 nights at the PP Riverbank in August for £179 . No quidco and I think the discount code has expired but still happy with that. Many thanks.

I booked a 2 night apartment last weekend in St Tropez. Last minute gave me the option to pay in £ or € so we chose £ it was about £73 or €100 exact and it stated ALL taxes and fees were included. However upon arrival we were told that no payment is taken and that you need to pay now at the hotel. They charged us €104. €4 euros more than quoted.OK its nothing financial wise but its principal. How can you charge more than quoted and we also had to pay in €. so just make sure you print off the screen shot of cost etc.

Tip:
Make sure you actually go|turnup as the cancel fee is one nights hotel rate, not one night at the reduced rates!
