In local Lidls tonight and they had their Deluxe Pies at buy one get one free. Three different packs, Beef & Stilton, Beef Bourguignon and Chicken & Chorizo. Yum.

I'd grizzle if I found needles in my pie too - but gristle is what really upsets me! :confused:

The last pie I had from Lidl was terrible. Hardly any meat and really salty.

I bought some of these a few months ago and they had really nasty pieces of grizzle in amongst the filling, I hate that stuff in my mouth it completely turns me off anything I'm eating, needles to say the lot went in the bin and so did the rest of the pies from the freezer!

For less than 56p a pie that's good value for anyone's money. Bought a couple of boxes today and i'm looking forward to them. Pity they only had Beef&Stilton left, would have preferred the beef bourguignon ones but never mind....

I bought a "sharing pie" in the so-called Deluxe range. It was deluxe sh***. FOUR small pieces of meat and the rest pastry. A real con. AVOID!
