- Go to checkout.
- Enter name, new (unused) email address and my phone number but change last 2 digits.
- Pick my address from the list.
- Select debit card or PayPal
- Enter card details if needed
- Enter "Contact number if needed (real number)" in the 'instructions to restaurant' box.
- Place order.

So far it's worked every single time.

No you can't combine discounts on hungry house. Also worth noting, my friend and I both tried the groupon discount last week and after trying to use it repeatedly to no aval we both gave up. I called up hungry house to tell them the code I had received had not worked but they were none the wiser. So people might get the same issue with this code.

You don't need to change your address, just the phone number. I always put the correct phone number in the 'instructions to restaurant' bit.

Yeah only differences need to be phone number and email. The sensible thing to block would be address. Just don't chat to them about a voucher not working if you want to use multiple times lol

how did your claim go? the only time i ever tried that i waited an hour for my food and it was simply dismissed by the restaurant and i got an e-mail saying it was unsuccessful, wont be bothering again i dont think.

Slightly off topic but completely relevant still I think to this thread, but I would encourage you to download the free Android App called "ScoresOnTheDoors" if you eat out a lot.

This fab app pulls in the latest data from the Government Food Standards Agency ratings database for restaurants nearby to your location, or via restaurant name / town / city etc and shows the Restaurant score between 0 and 5 for its official hygiene rating.

It has certainly made me think twice about visiting a restaurant, and I would encourage you to do the same if you are at all bothered or curious about the hygiene of somewhere you are about to eat in.

What exactly are you doing? I'm following the link through Google, registering and when I get to the page where it asks me to select my address I enter it manually and enter a different number. But when I get to the final page it says I haven't met the terms.

Had a phone call from HungryHouse, the fake number I used, the person who received the order text phoned HungryHouse and told them they didn't order. :laughing:

Using Paypal gets you around the card block when it inevitably happens. Might help others who have that problem

When I try it through Paypal as it has blocked my card, it goes through on my debit card and HungryHouse then refund it back to my account and order doesn't go through, anyway around this?

hasnt worked for me for months now, i dont put in contact address or phone number or use a saved card nothing and each time i get to the last page after discount has been on and it reverts back to full amount then i get so frustrated that i have to either start again or give up and pay full price my tea ends up even later lol

It still works for me. things i do everytime: On firefox i use private browsing as this rules out cookies being a problem. Don't register, just place an order, Use a unique phone number everytime. Create a new email address, Use paypal, as my card got blocked but paypal works all the time. thats it.

For 3 months I was requesting the discounts via LiveChat so there is hope for all.

Well if you're interested, if you use PayPal balance to pay then it should work. Using my card through PayPal didn't but using actual PayPal balance does work.

I've tried to place multiple orders over the last week, all were stuck on waiting for a response from the restaurant. When I went on live chat, I was told my account had been linked to suspicious activity and my order was cancelled. I had used a new card, name, phone number and email every time, the only constant was my house number and address and even making small adjustments to that didn't work.

Received a message from HungryHouse:

"We can see on our system that you've ordered previously using different email addresses. Our system is dynamic and uses a number of factors in order to verify whether or not a customer has ordered from us previously, and we can see that numerous orders have been made to your address in order to acquire our 1st time customer discount. Our Fraud Department reserves the right to deny service to customers they find to be misusing our platform. Please keep in mind, no further orders will be successful; if orders are attempted via online payments, the funds will not be accepted by hungryhouse, but they may be reserved by your bank temporarily."

I just had a bit of trouble tonight. It kept reverting back to full price even after using the "[email protected]" trick. So used a different email with the trick and thankfully all went through okay. :laughing:

- Enter "Contact number if needed (real number)" in the 'instructions to restaurant' box. [Optional: Just in case the restaurant has to contact you]
- Place order.

Tried this with no luck. I wonder if they're looking at IP addresses now too.

It worked last night without any issues. If they were going by IP addresses now, mine hasn't been blocked yet!

Pretty sure they wouldn't block your IP though.

If it don't work first time try it again, a few times I've done it its not worked first time, but then re do it in new incognito tab & put in a new fake phone no and it works again!

Read last night that Just Eat had bought (or are going to) Hungry House, would explain why they've removed this offer. AFAIK, Just Eat doesn't have any kind of new customer offer. :disappointed:
