saw the deal for the 6 + screen protector for £1.29 and this seems to be the cheapest I could find for a tempered glass protector for the iphone 6, usually £2.21 trending on this product so not a bad price.

I like how the pictures for these products always show a phone getting attacked by hammers, knives and power drills.
Who attacks their phone with a power drill?!

for my house it would be better suited to show a kids toy or a drinker hitting it, or a kid drooling on it might be more apt for me

Thanks. I ordered a 99p one off eBay but it didn't cover the whole screen whereas this one looks like it will.

It won't. There's no iPhone tempered protector that fills up the entire front.

YouTube obviously has a lot to answer for,,,, this is where most guns, hammers, knives etc are used on mobiles .... For the rest of us it concrete or whatever hard material we happen to be walking on.

I'm on my second one of those benks full screen type. Within a few days they'll crack as they don't fit the curve of the 6/6+'s screens so the slightest knock produces a chip/crack (not to mention all the lint that collects beneath the air gap!)

I think they are referring to the glass being genuine (tempered as opposed to plastic etc).

This has been been mostly good for me so far but theres a fault which everyone should know about. If theres a function where you need to hold the screen for longer than 10 seconds (like recordign a voice message on whatsapp) then you will not be able to do so with this glass protector on. Its a great idea and product but the fact that I cant send voiceclips longer than 10 seconds with it on is a deal-breaker

24 Apr 15#16
So you're saying that glass stops working after 10 seconds?
Cyrus
24 Apr 15#17
How can a bit of glass "stop working" ??
I mean by using the glass as a protector, if you want to hold a function on the screen through touch-sense for longer than 10 seconds then it will not work.

I have bought this protector from this seller couple of months ago. The protector is over sized and on the curved edges of phone it catch dirt etc because of gap. Wrote my review and getting emails from the seller since for 50% refund if I change my review.
Cold for me.

So how exactly does touching work for 9.99 second and stop working after that?
Also what kind of voice recorder requires you to hold your finger on the screen for 10 seconds instead of just tapping START and STOP when you finish?
Your comment doesn't make much sense really.

Cant comment on the issue itself, but with Whatsapp, you do need to hold down the REC button to record, as soon as you let go, it sends the voice

Cheers OP, managed to break my screen protector the other day so just what I needed.
Is that due to the curved screen of the iPhone 6? On the iPhone 5S I've had glass full screen protectors before but they had a flat screen.
Received this but unfortunately it's no different from the 99p ones that I bought before.

You can get expensive ones that are 'curve matched' to fit the curved edges of the iPhone 6 but I don't think this is necessary and just accept it's the flat area I care most about.

These are great. They are thicker than a plastic protector and you can feel it the difference around the home button but you get used to it. Had one since iPhone 6 came out and still not a mark on it.

Great protection and easy application. but personally I don't like the thickness around the home button so I ended up taking mine off after a while and just use a standard clear protector which is enough for me as I only want scratch protection.

Please don't waste your money on this screen protector. This is no different from what you can get for 99p. All these screen protectors do not cover the entire screen (as already mentioned before - iphone 6 slightly curved edges). My search for a good screen protector continues...
