bought these in lidl today. 99p and they taste amazing! lists 13 flavours in the back of the pack and they really taste as described :smiley: enjoy

on a 1.8kg tub you can get jelly belly for 91p per 100g.. still expensive but only jelly bean factory brand comes close to quality and variety in my experience.. i dont knock lidl and will try in hope they arent of the "cheap sugar shell flaking off the gelatine variety"

Is the cochinilia similar to cochineal? Food colouring produced from insects.

Jelly belly are suitable for vegetarians.

Ingredients: Sugar, glucose syrup, water, modified cornstarch, acidulant: fumaric acid, citric acid; natural aroma, coating agents: beeswax, carnuba wax, shellac; colorings: curcumin (turmeric), cochinilla, shiny blue FCF, ammonium sulfite caramel, titanium dioxide.

jelly belly is 40 flavours normally. ok some of them are vile but I can't see how the above is a deal

Jelly belly is like 99p for 50g. They're really not much if at all different especially at 5 times the price.

There is a noticeable difference in quality between these beans and their more expensive originals which justifies their higher price.
