This stuff is really good and normally gets some heat when posted for 18 rolls for £4 at Farmfoods or Home Bargains. Aldi doing a 16 roll pack which works out slightly cheaper per roll. This is the 3 ply stuff.

Two points that's more expensive and Tesco is 2 ply, does come with free brown finger admittedly!

I bought nine rolls in Home Bargains today for £2. Have to agree with you, top quality. I used to have a bit of a snobby attitude towards these until my friend told me how good they were. Heat for post.

Tesco sell 4 rolls of nicky for 90p which works out £3.60 for 16 rolls and always this price.

We've just migrated to these from Asda Shades at 24 for £8 so equivalent £6 for 18, won wife round and she seems happy enough, excellent value...

Hi, i remember when i was young we used to use newspaper cut into squares by my mum as we were not very well off. My parents were older and at the time i hated it but now at 62 it didn't do me any harm. In saying that now i wouldn't dream of using it now, Oh how things have changed.

aha that is interesting. I suppose back then old news papers must have had value coz they were recycled as toilet papers. I am guessing people in those days would stock them up. I bet in ancient times before paper was invented, humans must have used large leafs as their toilet paper. :smile: that is what I think.

Good deal for 3 ply. If its 2 ply, its 2 furious.
Using the old maxim 'one for a wipe, one for a clean and one for a polish', these should last a long while.
