A little excited to order more plants and bulbs for a challenge. Here are the offers I have found on the Thompson & Morgan and Telegraph Plants website. Where you only pay £5.65 for each pack (that is suppose to be the postage cost).
Best to order by phone otherwise ordering online adds more postage on top.
Site is running a little slow.
I called this number to order for any of the 2 sites 0333 400 0033 (just like an 01 or 02 on most tariffs). All you have to do is give the part of the URL that is just after the name of the item for the items code or tell them the title and site you got from.
thanks for the hard work.
website still down, but after the rush, should be OK after 22:00hrs

I think the deal might have expired as I looked up and cant find but you can always give them a ring and ask them about the deal as they might have it on there end but taken off their website.

If you order online it adds postage to each one...... if you order by phone do you just pay one postage for all?
Great find, Thanks!

Best to order by phone as they add on p&p online. You are just suppose to pay £5.65 for each pack you order not including postage as they say that you are only paying for p&p for each item.

Just tried to order dahlias and lavender but they couldn't find the order codes for the lavender. The person wanted the Oder code from the telegraph.
I have added the order codes next to the titles of the packs.

Called again, still no joy they want to know the code next to the item in the paper or the catalogue.
Thanks for all the effort noddle36.

I found the same, the number on the URL is the item number but they are asking for the order code from the newspaper where it was found :disappointed:

If you order online it does not ask for the newspapers code so you could say you was trying to order from online (where you found this offer) but was charging you for postage on top. When I was ordering they had not asked for the newspapers code from me.

Did you mention you were trying to order online. Apparently with the item code they cannot find the offer and claim it may be another shop the telegraph offer refers to, this is for the bee friendly lavender and perennials.

I called the 0333 400 0033 which calls Thompson & Morgan but I had ordered all these items that was on the Telegraph Plants website.
Gladioli 50 Corms FFP 1 £5.65 Awaiting Stock By end of March 2015
Bulbs Summer Flowering 200 bulbs 1 £5.65 Awaiting Stock By end of March 2015
Perennial Collection 18 Plants 1 £5.65 Awaiting Stock By end of March 2015
Dahlia Collection 6 Bare Roots 1 £5.65 Awaiting Stock By end of March 2015
Maybe if your order is from Thompson & Morgan and the Telegraph Plants website you might have to order separately as you should only be charged £5.65 for each pack and free postage.

I emailed Thompson & Morgan about the that fact postage was being added and they replied that the offer was no longer available.
When you click the Thompson and Morgan links (I tried the strawberries), if you go back to the Thompson and Morgan offers, it says that the offer runs out 16th May 2014.
Hopefully they will have another offer like this soon.

You could always give them a call as I got my offers over the phone from the Telegraph Garden Offers a couple of weeks ago and online the offer says offer ends 2014 April with no problems.

Hi! Thanks for your reply but those are not Telegraph Websites. T&M said that I need to go though the Telegraph website to get the offer? Any ideas?

I might be very much mistaken but I believe the 'paper code' they are after is tep297
If you click the grey text line just above the picture (
Telegraph Garden Offers > --------- click this text on the actual web page of the offer -------------
20 Free* Perennials worth £29.95
) it goes to the 'all telegraph offers' part and then puts the paper code in the URL.
Fingers crossed.
I still dont understand why if the item is 'free' to they insist the £5.65 is for postage and then it still adds £4.95 postage to the total order?!?!
And has anyone got the 20% off to work on the offers??
Thanx

The code they are after for each item I have placed on the first and second posts at the end of the titles. Not sure why they add the postage online so I just called them and gave them the codes and made sure they did not add postage fees.
So for the FREE* Magnolia, Tree Peony and Wisteria - worth £44.97 Order code = tcf55888TM
So you got free delivery on all of it instead of paying two sets over both t&m & telegraph sites?
I get the codes needed to order each item. I was trying to help those asking for the paper number/code that t&m were asking for by going back one level to the telegraph offers page&then checking the URL. Sorry if that was unclear.
Did you get 20% off as well???
Thanx for getting back so quick!

When I called I just ordered from the telegraph with free delivery (as they say you only pay p&p for each item) over the phone but I assume you can order from the both sites.
I dont think you can use the 20% off code with these offers.
Rang to complain about extra P&P and he gave me a code for free postage but when I added something else off site cancelled that code, so you can only use code for the above offers....
Noddle36 Thanks so much for all the information you gave here. One single call to T&M and 9 of the offers ordered in one go (unfortunately one of them out-of-stock!).
