Haven't tried them yet but they look like "proper" spuds - still have the dirt on and everything!

i've tried these, maris piper are my favourites and these are are good as any that cost 3 or 4 times as much, as for bad ones in bag, that can happen with any potatoes, it is just luck, bags are transparent unless you buy a full sack in the outer packaging

In my experience it's better to buy these 2kg packs than the larger packs for £2.50. Made the mistake of buying a 5kg pack from ALdi and even though they're stored in a freezing cold laundry in a bin bag the spuds are still sprouting. The quaility was poor before I'd even opened the bag.

Found them in Hessle Road, Hull branch. National though, I'd imagine, as they weren't reduced. They were near the door in one of the large 25kg paper sacks.

Ive bought tatties twice now from this place. Now it may just be my 'bad luck' but both bags contained rotting potatoes in them. When I say rotting, I mean absolutely stinking! Big holes in them and slimy stinky stuff coming out them. Its enough to give you the boak.....
The bags were not transparent so no way of telling this prior to purchase :disappointed:
