We were in Lidl last night and their Vitafit pure orange XXL 1.25l is currently 99p. We normally buy their 1l bottles at the same price, so 25% extra free.
This is 100% pure orange juice, not from concentrate. It has to be a bargain at this price.

Good value but annoyingly I don't like the bitty type of orange juice I always buy the smooth.

They do it in smooth as well. I just happen to like the bits myself. And they had no smooth left when we were in.

I have both Sainsbury juice and another juice in my fridge, neither state that they contain water, juice and a preservative usually, why not pop into Lidl to find out - better still buy one, proof of the pudding etc etc.

That is true. I keep tabs on orange juice prices and you rarely get 1.25l for under a quid. Heat added.

Even if its manufactured where the oranges are picked and pressed they can still add some additional water. When they say not from concentrate they mean not from the very concentrated orange juice that is transported in a tar like state and then re-hydrated. Is it literally 100% orange juice on the ingredients list? Just curious.

Is it any good, how diluted is it? Is it smooth or the bitty type?

It's not diluted.

Unfortunately Letchworth only had the 1litre bottles this morning. This is a good price for "not from concentrate" juice. Will keep an eye out for next time.

Two things, please post deals of fresh orange juice available at £1 a litre. If £1.50 then this is 33% cheaper for 25% more.
Give it up with the anti-lidl posting, jog on.

BTW, the pic in the ad title is the 1l bottle, not the 1.25l. The 1.25 is definitely not always 99p.

my maths isn't the best but isn't the 1.25l always 99p as It's 1l with the extra free?

Think its 25% extra. But you can pick up fresh orange juice for around £1 to £1.50 at most supermarkets so nothing to shout about really.
