After much thought we bought a wf90f7e6u6w and received delivery today.
This is a EU model, and the thing that scares me is that its made in China...
Fingers crossed quality of materials are not bad and I wont need to use the 5 year warranty.

yes mine started to get forgetful/easily distracted and would just stop about 15 minutes into the cycle. It gradually got worse over the past 6 months or so until just recently it was barely completing any cycles. Today it wont even switch on, I won't buy another samsung washing machine again

Well according to my last words, is developed a fault outside the JL warranty period. Chasing up Samsung now. Anyone else have problem with there machines?

I think you will have to ring customer support for that information because on their site although it says stacking there is no evidence of a kit number or price or suitability for which machines.

Been watching this for a while now but I can't find the answer to this question before I pull the trigger: Can I stack a tumble dryer on top of it and does it have to be a Samsung one?

I had the same problem when trying to order a week ago (and I live in London). However, I tried again a few times/days later and it then allowed me to order, telling me that KNOWWHO (or whoever they're called) would be in touch when they have a delivery date. The estimate being the 2-4 weeks mentioned. In short - it's worth trying again and again and again....

Need to get a new washing machine tomorrow as ours broke today. Is this still the best deal available for price/quality? I see Panasonic have an offer on at the moment for 5 years guarantee and also cashback. For example hotukdeals.com/dea…868
Thanks

^^Graphite looks very nice. I've got gloss white kitchen so hence i went for white.
Also got mine for £355 after points back from Boots. You also get £60 off £100 naked wines voucher. It went up a tenner after i purchased. Also much faster delivery.
Ordered the graphite on Tuesday (after my AEG Lavamat died after 12 years or so). Have to wait 2-4 weeks before it can be delivered, installed, etc apparently. Having popped into the store to collect an iPad glad I went for graphite (will try to upload photo of them side by side but can't find option on iPad). Hopefully I'll get round to sorting out the long overdue and put off planned grey gloss kitchen refit before this washing machine dies (I've missed the January sales boat for kitchens I reckon but it seems to me they were mostly misleading reductions from hiked up prices in November type sales).

What's going on with this thread? It's like two people have written war and peace about washing machines?!

The argument WAS about washing machine reliability.
The other guy is getting personal so I'll drop it for his sake.. (_;) but it hurts to see misinformation which could influence others decisions. It's simply not true that a Miele washer costs 3x as much or a Beko ' is nearly as reliable '. There are many many more than satisfied owners, who now know it doesn't cost as much as you think to get the best in it's class - it can be seen as an investment.
I come here to nab great deals but also to share information back and forth and I hope for it to be accuate..
That's it from me in this thread.. but we've already seen hints of buyers remorse with this and the Samsung.
Just sayin'

31 Dec 15#33
Honestly, you are utterly clueless. Most people unsurprisingly wouldn't pay 3x as much for something which only has a marginal reliability advantage. Not forgetting the difference in reliability between Miele and other brands has never been closer and their spares prices are totally uncompetitive. You seem to be caught in some sort of time loop. German cars are no longer that reliable and Miele are nowhere near as good as they were in the past. That is the reality of today but clearly not in your own special reality that operates between your two ears.

Don't get too excited about this machine, I bought one about a year ago and it's hardly free of faults! It did come with a 5 year warranty but it needed to. Samsung should stick to making TV's (imo).
I'll be getting a Bosch or Miele next time.

have this machine in 7kg model. absolutely brilliant and a "which" best buy. 5 years free parts and labour is stunning. normally only get that on miele models but they are are around £800! no brainer. if you need a washing machine look no further!!

We have owned the Samsung WF80F5E2W4X graphite washing machine from Currys since April 2013. Back then I paid £499.99 as it came with the 5 year warranty and £50 cashback (on a prepaid card) from Samsung also. Initially I had an issue with the chrome/mirror type finish on the door as it looked bubbled but I took the matter up with the Samsung uk technical contact (under the warranty) and they sent an engineer to replace the door within a week. No performance or mechanical issues have occurred yet and it gets used daily. It's a no brainer to me, at that price it's hot, hot, hot...

That's kinda my point exactly. Today, set it for a delayed wash before rushing off to work. Forgot an item, so had to switch off the machine and wait the 3mins for the door to open. Why. What's the danger?
soldierboy001
25 Mar 15#15
If it won't unlock immediately or after the door has locked to early before water level rises above door level turn the machine off, wait 90 seconds and the door should unlock. do not do this if water is above door bottom line.
greycounciller
25 Mar 15#14
So, 2 months on. For those of you who got the machine, is there anyway to disable the incredibly frustrating 'Door Lock'? It comes on as soon as you start a program and want to add something quickly before the water even gets in the machine. Or if you start a warm/hot wash you have to wait for it to cool? Bad design I thinks.

Most washing machines are made to fit a 600mm gap, why don't you click view the deal and read the specs?

9 Mar 15#12
I know this deal has expired now but i am considering purchasing this machine but worried it may not fit. I have a 602mm gap but could extend that by removing a bit of mdf that is next to the machine for cosmetic reasons only. I would be getting it installed when it was delivered but was hoping someone could possibly measure the width and give me the true size . As if it is exactly 600mm wide i will try and make the gap slighly bigger before its installed. Thanks in advance
