Outstanding price for quality brand and size of bottle compared to other brands.

Purchased this and it tastes nothing like Worcestershire sauce. Ruined our tea and complained to Heinz and they sent me a £3 voucher.

Also great for anyone with a fish allergy as it doesn't have fish in it unlike many brands of Worcester sauce do. (DO double check, but it didn't have any in it when I last bought it)

Then it's not Worcester sauce since Anchovies are a main ingredient of it.

Truly rancid, it is more like some sort of Chinese sauce.

This stuff is imported from China, might be Heinz and might claim to be Worcestershire sauce but it's not what I expected.......

I bought this about a month ago thinking what a good deal for a big bottle of Worcestershire sauce, how wrong I was. Have to agree with other comments it tastes nothing like Worcestershire sauce in my opinion it's horrible & have not used since.
Might be an acquired taste but I think I'll stick to Lea & Perrins or Sarsons in future.

Bought some last year and was going to post on Hot deals but it tasted minging to be honest, as do other the imported Heinz sauces from Home Bargains i.e. soy sauce etc, they're poor copies and nothing can quickly ruin your meal if your not careful.

Worcestershire sauce as shown here is not the same sauce in china/HK as it is here. It's far more salty.
Strange the way in the east they think this is 'our uk' sauce because of Heinz branding. Won't hang about long on the uk market this...

I agree, nothing like Worcester Sauce as we know it but I LOVE this stuff with noodles and salmon, it really really works. Good as dipping sauce for spring rolls and prawns too. Obviously produced for the asian market. Ruined my shepherd's pie though!

Hendersons Relish: fish-free, O.K. for vegetarians & vegans and won't spoil your food. It's lovely!
Difficult to find if you're not in the Sheffield area though.

Its always been this price so its hardly a 'hot deal'. Voted cold from me!!! :disappointed:
It is rank on its own but its not bad added to various dishes or sauces. BTW, its nothing like the original as others have stated.

As others have said this is not the same as lea and perrins worcester sauce. However, it is amazingly useful when cooking stir fries, noodles, marinades and loads of other chinese recipes. I get through a bottle of this stuff every couple of months, don't put it on your cheese on toast or in shepherd's pie but try cooking mushrooms and prawns with it and you will be amazed.

If it doesnt pass the 'on cheese & toast' test, then it aint Worcester Sauce...and this fails miserably!

Seems bizarre that they're allowed to call this Worcester sauce if it tastes nothing like Worcester sauce should...stick to the original. Makes me smile when it's mentioned in US progs as I live in Worcestershire.

Heinz have destroyed L&P's reputation by allowing this to be marketed in the U.K. Definitely "junk" food. It wasted my toasted cheese .

I think this stuff is great and it is really good in Chinese dishes which would be ruined by the addition of the traditional Lea & Perrins variety. Both are good in their own way.
