I was told about this application by a friend, I was sceptical but after downloading the Free Prints App on Android, and having my photos delivered today I can honestly say it is one of the best applications I am ever going to have.
No catch. Every month you get 45 FREE 6×4 photos, select the best ones on your phone's memory, facebook, instagram and more.

Just received my prints. Have to say I'm not overly impressed with the results. Not sure if the quality is affected by printing via Instagram and the images are lower res on Instagram, but probably unlikely to use the service again. :smirk:

Down loaded app but cheapest postage was £2 for 40 prints, 45 prints postage was £2.50 and that was with a first order discount of £1.49. For a big order it's cheaper to go to local shop where I can order for 5p per print.

This isn't that clever when you compare it to Tesco print credits.... Freeprints = £47.88 for 540 prints (lots more if you go over limit) Tesco print credits credits =£25 for 500 prints + collect instore in an hour (*most extras etc) print 500of the same if you wanted. Don't print any in Feb if you don't want and save credits for holidays etc..

This is what I got when trying to install it. ... If you're using an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), Windows Phone device, or Kindle Fire, you won't be able to download apps on Google Play.

I have this on my phone. photos arrive within a few days. Always high quality. I asked them to try and add Google drive in their options which they duly did.
Use this app all the time and had lots of deliveries now and always been happy. The quality isn't perfect but for a few phone snaps of family etc. it's great. Highly recommend. Heat.

Small print : Free Prints is currently only available to residents of the contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.
I use this an it is good but I have found that snap fish do 50 prints for free and their postage is cheaper think it's about 2.50 ish where as the freeprints was £3.99

If you are getting the 'not available in your country' error don't click the Get Deal button above. Go directly to the Play Store yourself and search 'Free Prints' then it works.

Snap fish (truprint) are doing 50 prints for £1.99 postage through their app for 12 months.

I had decent pictures & the vast majority made the photo album & several in frames. They are worth getting just for the sake of postage. 45 a month & if you get half that are decent it's well spent :smiley:

Yeah that is the problem, they are ok "for the price" the photos were taken on my iPhone 6 good daylight shots. As they go into the apps photo library they degrade quite substantially, but as you say good for what you pay, but won't be making it into any photo frames.

My pics were a bit blurry, I niti as I transfer them to the app they lose quality , so the pics there sent me had a blurry finish. When I emailed them they asked for examples . I showed them and haven't now had a reply since last Sunday

This is an American website and the free prints are exclusively for residents of the US and close territories, it seems. Read on...
Furthermore the Terms & Conditions buried on the originators website state that by uploading your photos, you are granting them exclusive use of your images for whatever purpose they see fit.
Effectively this means they are able legally to resell your personal photos for profit. Be it for marketing, promotional material or otherwise.
That is how they make their money. Reselling your private personal photos.

The net is awash with these so-called 'free' prints deals. The catch is very simple: Without exception, they all offer the frankly sh*te 6 x 4 size. Never seen any deal where there is a flexibility of changing to a decent size in exchange for fewer prints. All they want is to rope you in and also get rid of their stock of un-sellable photo-paper size. Deal? Not in my book.

I've used this many many times. Photos are 6x4 and the prints are top quality, come in the same packaging that the big brands eg Kodak use (the wee envelope etc). Brilliant app.

Mine took about 5 working days to arrive. But can be a bit longer :smiley: Well worth it though. For those saying it should be in deals, clue is in the name FREE PRINTS. If you want to be fussy about paying postage, take a long hard look in the mirror!

Few photos taken from my facebook albums are a little blurry but their just being thrown up on the wall.

No catches all you pay for is postage.l mate. Trust me give it a go. As long as there is a decent camera on your phone (not the front facing one) the photos will be quality. I was surprised how good they are I have got the Galaxy S4. My selfie photos on front camera are not as good but who cares it's FREE!
