Yeah it really grinds me too. And then there's that conflict in the middle east going on at the moment, that's a real pain too. Two things that really REALLY wind me up. :wink:

How do I get hose back into reel

Nearly 4000 sold on Groupon. Just go to show a few nice photographs and a bit of advertising can sell anything!

Do not buy! These hoses are very poor quality and the plastic fittings leak. Wasted money on these before!

These aren't very good at all. Used min once then threw away. Difficult to wind back up & kept jamming whilst trying to squeeze the water out as I was winding it in. You get what you pay for!

why is it so cheap, £9.98 here or £8.20 on ebay seems cheap - anyone got one? are they crap?

My parents got one. It was rubbish.
I bought some Hoselock kit about 8 years ago and it has lasted well (except the bits I left outside over winter)

Yeah as mentioned, the biggest flaw is that you have to unwind all of it to use it, instead of just pulling out as much as you need to reach where you need

They are rubbish, any tiny bit of water left in pipe after using then it won't reel up and gets jammed.

Bought this same hose reel from groupon last time they had it on offer, absolutely terrible! Kicking myself really as it does seem too cheap but I hoped for the best, it wasn't even useable once as its just so poorly made. Honestly, don't buy this (not the poster's fault this a piece of crud tho).

Ive got one of these, truly crap. Hose frays really easily and kinks when in use. When finished its hard to wind back up!

Looks like the piece of junk that I bought in TK Maxx after Christmas. If it is, it's a terrible product. Incredibly difficult to get back on the reel and bursts very easily. Threw mine out on the second use. I've now got a Hozelock. Double the price, but it has lasted a lot more than twice as long.

Good deal for price but the pipe tears of very easily which means more leaks and would lead to buying another hose. Its hard to pack it up when finish using it as well

It is cold probably as it is terrible quality and falls apart the first time you use it ,and also reduces pressure by about 60% I can vouch for this ,as I was unfortunate enough to buy it

You have to uncoil the full hose in order to use any of it. Bit of a pain for me.
