I bought 2 lavender plants from Lidl and they are good except I now worry that they might be treated with nicotinoids and therefore deadly to the bees I'm trying to help. Should I dig them up?

I noticed these in my Lidl yesterday. Might be worth checking your local store to see if they are display in advance of the sale date...

Good wo/man... Not as many bees around this summer due to an extremely wet winter. I found it very difficult to get local honey this year for that reason

The ones I got from Thomson + Morgan have hardly grown at all, neither have the geraniums thinking about it, think I may have done something wrong, was hoping to help the bees a little.

Same here. My geraniums are rather stunted to say the least. I've found TM's plants to be a bit hit and miss.

Welcome. My bees & butterflies can't get enough of these. My hubby jokes that we have a mini butterfly world farm going. (Also see my previously deal for 48 lavender plants from Thompson & Morgan. Although these will probably be tiny plug plants & not suitable for planting in the garden immediately)
