J9STL
16 May 14#113
mine arrived today - minus one of the silver stand-off brackets :disappointed:
The numbering system of our road is a tad unusual, the numbers are all mixed up due to flats being knocked down and replaced with new houses whilst the old houses remain on the other side.
Due to this we frequently find that delivery drivers get lost and are not sure where our house is located, or indeed if our house is even on the road that they have entered.
This is why I have ordered this sign, it should hopefully stand out as they are driving up and down the road and easily identify us.
So the comments of "takeaway driver likes it" might not be as chavvy as they first appear.

Small tip for you here postie - you can look at the house numbers before and after to discern which number the missing house is.

Hi
I wont buy from them again they look good but are cheap quality and made. I ordered a more expensive sign (which they don't sell any more and wonder why) and the backing came off and cracking in months of putting them up (others having the same problems on other signs too). I liked the sign so much and offered to pay to have them replaced and soon as they find out that I have already purchased one and they failed they stopped replying and never heard from them again. also bad customer service too.

We had slate with the number etched onto it, but because it's a new build, and there is a number 7 round the corner, couriers would constantly go to them first, so this gives us a fighting chance having the actual street name attached (Not too mention the neighbours wouldn't bring any of the missed delivery tickets over :disappointed: asshats! )

Good price. Bought one of these for £9.99 via Groupon a few months ago. They look good, are quite small unless you pay extra to increase the size & to be honest I'm a little wary that the taped on numbering etc will come off within a couple of years or less. Up to you. I would consider getting the engraved & painted slate sign for the same price via a different company which I think will last longer. You pays your money. you takes your chances
