From what I can determine, the product is from chinaand it would appear what is in the bottle is more akin to pine oil, i.e the stuff used in Dettol which although has strong and similar properties to tea tree is cheaper to obtain, possibly the distributors of this product can comment to enlighten everyone. http://www.xpelmarketing.com

My dad has this and i have a bottle from ebay that was a lot more exspensive the cheaper one smells slighty simular but doesnt last ie the smell that lingers with the more exspensive so yea i would say its watered down

100% pure doesn't mean the bottle contents are.

30ml could be made up from:

15ml water
15ml of 100% pure tea tree oil

Hence the ability to claim on the bottle:

"100% pure tea tree oil"

I bought the same bottle and it smells like Human Urine to me, still cleared a couple of spots on my face though after a couple of days so can't be that bad.

I've only seen the 10ml ones for 99p though.

I've bought this one before and I agree with what others have said about the poor quality. I'd say its a false economy to buy this, I binned it.

They sell the 10ml bottle in poundworld, It smells very different to normal tea tree oil so i assume is a very low quality tea tree used.

Where abouts where they in shop? With the medicine stuff or elsewhere?

Been using the stuff from the Body Shop but this is a lot cheaper!
