Not bad for price though. Great for summer nights then can store away in garage for another few years hopefully

had exact same one from Aldi for 3 years use it all the time. Gives off a great heat. In the winter I stick it in the shed .

B&M bargains have been selling this for £25 in store. I opted for their metal one at £29.99 though as I wasn't sure how long this one would last.

I got the same one, but found it rusts very easily! Also, for anyone else getting this one, be careful not to tighten the bolts to much when putting it together! I cracked mine in a few places :-/

I would honestly save your money and buy a metal one, if your after a chimenea.
If they generate too much heat which it will, they crack and can even explode.
Happened to us a few years ago, even though it should be designed to hold high heat.
Would never buy a clay one again. Stick to the metal ones, lasts much longer and safer!

How can they explode and still be sold?

Just read up on them
And it seems that they will explode if not used properly
So take the lid off and sorted

we had this for less than 2 weeks when a large crack appeared while it was in use we went back to aldi and informed them and they refunded us so this is not a complaint but i think buyers would be better off not buying this product

Do you have to put sand in it every time before use or just the for curing fires?
