Bought this for £329 after it was reduced from £349. Managed to get B&Q to credit me back another £50 over the weekend after spotting they had reduced it yet again to £279. This is surely a great deal?!
The oven has a pyrolytic cleaning function, huge 70 litre capacity, retractable controls, multifunction programmable LED display, modern gloss black finish, feels sturdy & well made plus a two year warranty as well!
A great spec'd oven together with a smart black glass top gas hob.
Many other brand named oven/hob combinations will be hard pressed to meet this quality & spec I feel, plus you will be paying far more!
Prefer or need a ceramic hob, well there is a version of this too at the same price.
Here are the B&Q specs:-
Multifunction single oven (10 functions)
Pyrolytic self-clean function
True fan oven and fan grilling
Easytronic LED programmer
Oven door cooling system
Retractable controls
4 ring gas-on-glass hob
Hob features auto ignition, rapid function, flame failure device & front controls
LPG conversion kit included
Dimensions: Oven - H595 x W595 x D575mm / Gas Hob - W590 x D500mm

In convection mode the fan runs quite powerfully. Has anyone else noticed air blowing out at the top of the unit? At the join where the glass door meets the control panel? I thought if any sir should come out it would be over the top of the control panel.
Just bought and fitted along with new kitchen closed oven door and front glass totally shattered!!!

Does anyone know if it has cheap plasticy knobs or metal ones? This lets some nice looking cookers that I've seen down.

Both oven & hob are same ones being black plastic with a sort of metal silver disc/cap. In my opinion this disc makes the difference and makes them look & feel fine.
B&Q told me I could return for a full refund as long as not used & is in original undamaged packaging. This should at least allow you to make your own judgement on quality but I don't think you will be disappointed. Hope that helps!

Mine is the same, its like it goes to sleep & display goes blank. It does return immediately you touch any of the controls however.
Not sure if there is some setting you can adjust so is permanently displayed?
Not a big issue for me as have other clocks in the kitchen anyway but can see why some people may find irritating...

Mine had a hob defect it was leaking gas very dangerous b&q sent me a replacement hob that was also broken shattered glass on the hob.
Finally got the replacement fitted by my gas safe engineer yesterday no problems yet. B&q are refunding me for the fitting cost
Yeah we got the same one for our first home, had it a week used it 3 times and the inside glass just shattered? Wouldn't recommend it we thought it was great, not a fault till it smashed on 200 degrees.

Wow.......thanks for all the heat everyone!
To answer a few questions raised here..........
The oven does come with a longish mains lead connected (with no plug however). It has no instructions as to how to connect, which I found a little surprising but as someone else has put, due to pyrolytic function I would recommend hard wiring to a suitable supply rather than a plug due to the current draw on that feature.
Oven heats up really quickly. No problems here!
Bit of research on brand shows it is from Apelson Appliances UK, which in turn is part of CNA group in Spain. Whilst Culina is not shown (or at least I cannot find it), my belief is it is an upmarket version of a CATA oven that you will also find sold in B&Q. Would appear that most of CNA products are manufactured in Spain. Here is their website... http://www.cnagroup.com.es/eng/empresa.html
Quality seems great, so don't be worried about taking the plunge if there are any left!
Plus you do have a 24 month parts & labour guarantee to back it up anyway (enclosed in box but not mentioned on website).
Hope that helps

Well my current 'Stoves' one is plugged in. However, if I'd thought about before ousting earlier, being pyrolytic, it would have to be hard wired due to the power drawn.

I'd never buy another B&Q own brand product again. They're really, really awful. Avoid.

OP (or anyone else that owns this model) - how long does it take to get to temperature, say 200 degrees.. i don't mean exactly but some ovens seem to take forever. I'm looking to replace my old one which actually heats up pretty quick so don't want to be disappointed!

I'm just having my kitchen done now, and I am looking for double oven, in column fridge, in column freezer and integrated dishwasher, so if anybody knows any deals anywhere please let me know. Searched on HUKD and not found anything.
It will be hard wired, only indesit come with a plug. This is another name for cata who make the cheaper range of ovens. Sold 3 of these this week already and sold cata since iv worked for B&Q and never had any problems with them.

This has been coming down every few days as it was a featured product that many stores got for the recent seasonal section, so it may come down even further to get rid of stock.
Pyrolytic means it's burns the dirt off with it's self cleaning cycle and you just brush it out the bottom. I've had them for ten years in my last two houses, can't live without it.
