Bought these (aa and aaa) last year and they're perfectly decent. This price, for x40, is great. Have some heat.

Possibly because they're not rechargeable...

I bought this two months back. They are absolutely waste. They don't last for 30 mins on a kids remote car, or for 50 photos in a camera. This Chinese made stuff is absolute crap. They take ages to charge as well. Buy some energizer stuff for better result.

Good deal
Don't forget the great deal on these at ikea. 10 for £1, think it might be £1.20 now. I usually end up buying 10'packs and ikea ones fair well in usage tests. Hold their charge well and last longer than most if not all other cheaper batteries and even some premium ones.

You may want to consider rechargeables then, as they will save you a lot more long-term.

I have been using the AA size of these for a month or so and have found them to last just as long as the Pro Cell Duracell ones.
Some of these prices will not be found by just browsing the site normally. They are special offer prices and they dont all appear in the special offers page. I noticed that some special offers had certain 2 digit codes added after the BT0#### number, like 02, 12, 14 & 61, and found extra offers by inserting these numbers on the end of some other products. You could try this trick with any other products that interest you to see if you can get a further discount with those too.

Here's some more pretty good battery deals:
10 Maxell Alkaline (£2.44): AA - AAA
GP Ultra Plus Alkaline AA 4pk (£1.19)
And for the disposable battery haters, they also do a good deal on GP 2700mha NiMh rechargeable 4pk (£9.58).
These were the top performers in a Gadget Show test.
GP 1000 AAA NiMh are very cheap to buy individually too at just £1.66 each.
