Morrisons have started doing their own three fish roast, made in store by the fishmonger - smoked haddock, cod and salmon. Nice alternative to turkey or beef, or great for a starter?

Won't the smoked haddock overpower the other flavours though and it all just ends up tasting of smoked haddock?

Yes it does, i've tried it. Plus it never cooks right. If the salmon is cooked then the cod is undercooked, and if the cod is cooked then the salmon is overdone

Not a fan of these fish or meat bundled together thingies to be honest. Probably rather go for the half price salmon at the moment.

Love fish but this doesn't appeal at all. Do people actually have fish for their main Christmas dinner? Gravy wouldn't be a good match surely haha.

I really don't get these kinds of things. Keep seeing the ad for the one with 4 birds in,sounds revolting. £6 sounds like a good deal if you like this sort of thing so heat added anyway.

So its a fish pie mix in a roll instead then, because those are the fish you get in them

Hot from me. It's good value and if you poach/steam it the fish will be cooked but keep it's moisture.

They should add that to the instructions as an alternative then, as opposed to just "Roasting"

Sounds like it is best to cook a piece of each fish separately and then just serve up a bit of each fish to each person.
Or
Could layer them on top of each other once separately cooked and then slice through. I reckon the smoked haddock flavour will come through as overpowering.
Or
Just make a fishermans pie or a Kedgeree and forget about a three fish roast
Or
Buy this and have a few fish meals consisting of each fish as a separate main dish.

Morrisons is brilliant for fish and the meat. Beats all other supermarkets in my opinion. This looks good.

I've bought a couple of these for Boxing Day and have seen a suggestion elsewhere to wrap it in puff pastry and make a kind of Fish Wellington. Has anyone tried this?

cook the fish roll in an oven bag, it steams itself with its own juices, keep or remove knobs of butter - delicious with new potatoes
