Lidl have a range of Senseo compatable coffee pods under Melangerie brand, only £1.69 for 18 pods available in Kenyan and Nicaragian varieties. The senseo pods are usually priced between £3-5 for the sane size product.
Also if you love coffee but not the expense of buying the pods get a coffeduck for the senseo machines so you can use any filter coffee...saves a fortune and tastes as good. Shared Via The HUKD App For Android.

I'm a regular lidl shopper and like their stuff, but unfortunately , in my opinion, these lidl ones aren't as good as the sensei ones made by dowe egberts. they're good, but not quite a good.

I would love to know of a list of coffees compatible with the coffee duck too, as results with a random ground coffee I bought, didnt go too well

These pods are made for the Senseo machines and aren't ESE pods for a normal espresso machine- they are a slightly different size. However they do work. I had a Senseo and used these all the time. Not quite as good as the proper Senseo pods, but at roughly half the price they are very good value if you can't be bothered with a coffeeduck to use ground.

I am completely new about this and am thinking about getting one. Hopefully a bargain in the sales lol!! Does anybody know if you can get a cheaper pod for the tassimo or am I right in thinking that the lidl pod only fits the senseo machine?? Cheers

You find packages of 40 at Aldi in Germany. I was pretty sad that the Aldi in the UK doesn't carry them when I moved here. Thank goodness Lidl doesn't bother to tailor to the UK market.

Not overly impressed with these - tried the Brazilian one and found it very weak.
Home Bargains sell the mug sized pads for £1.99 a pack of 20 - far better value IMO. That or coffeeduck.

Not knowing about something that's ALWAYS this price doesn't make it a deal. People only don't know about these pads because shopping in stores like Aldi & Lidl is beneath them!

I disagree I have just bought a senseo coffee machine for a great price. And had no idea that these pods were compatible with this machine - or that there was some such item as a coffeeduck - so thank you to the poster I will check both of these out and think it is a very good deal, whether available now or all year round (infact all year round bargain makes it even hotter)

I buy my pods from http://www.directcoffeepods.co.uk £5.99 for 48 or £5.49 if you order 10 or more packets. Free delivery for orders over £60.
I've tried the Lidl version. They are acceptable but not as nice as Senseo, in my view.
