For the price these are "ok" if you bargain in the fact they will cost half of what you pay just to post them.
The instructions I received with mine were for a different version (identical looking but the code entry method was different as were the codes).
If you are looking for a decent quality remote then don't buy this. If you're looking for a cheap and cheerful remote that you can bin after a couple of years then these are "ok"

They used to sell this in Home Bargains years ago. Heap of crap. Pay a few pounds more for better value.

Did none of you read eBay feedback for seller? Saying remote control is crap? Seller is also selling fake clothes etc..

Also available through their Amazon store but with a negative review
"Attractive looking but very cheap to hold. Instructions were scarce but after 12 hours gave up on this as I could not get it to control a Samsung tv. According to the flimsy instructions there were three modes to detect a tv 1)Auto - where it scan all remote codes until it find a response from the tv 2) Manual entry of 3 digit code from a list supplied by Vivanco 3) a library function. Tried all three, but failed to detect the Samsung tv. I've given up on it. The other worrying thing is that it is supposed to have sky box codes stored, but the instructions don't show how to detect
the sky box in the event it gets lost. All in all, a rather worthless product, at least if you want to control a Samsung TV."

At that price it's worth a go. Our proper HD remote has been quite poor lately and unresponsive so will try anything

Mine arrived, a lot lighter than the original and layout takes some getting used to but works fine with out sky hd box. Thanks OP

Ok - got mine through and had time to have a play.
Initial thoughts - very cheap and cheerful.
Remote would not program at all with the included instructions.
Despite saying it operates all satellite receivers, I've not seen anything in the instructions to support this.
The buttons on the top are for TV, Dig and Dig*, the instructions seem to imply that these are for the TV, Sky and Sky+
I have however found instructions that *do* work and they can be found here :
Hope that helps - if I can't get mine going with my Sat receiver, the guts are coming out and I'll program a microcontroller to do it properly lol.

Was just gonna ask what carno1 has asked. Have the tv link thing in the bedroom and another remote would be ideal for this instead of the one remote for the livingroom and bedroom. Especially at this price!

Hmmmm - says Vivanco on the picture but Vivcano on the description - I've ordered a few, will be interesting to see if they are any good.

Cheers! Buttons on my current Sky+ one are failing one by one, so this is just what I need. Heat added.

Have two of these in the house. They are well worth £2.89. Hot.
