Always found Staveley's large free range to be great eggs - no fishy taste as in others, good colour, as all eggs used to have, and the real test - they cook very well, even poaching, which really sorts the field out.

Asda have 2 for £4 on 15-packs of Free Range Eggs atm.
Which works out at 7.5 large eggs for a quid. Happy days for those of us who get through a boatload.

had an off batch of these stavely free rangers from home bargains - really horrible experience especially if you break the bad egg into a recipe - had to bin whole lot ingredients - had three bad ones in box of six - still well in date. haven't risked it since.

Regularly something like £1.05-£1.09 in Lidl - and last week they were Welsh Eggs (allegedly, as one needs to say about all packaged foods nowadays).

I've been getting my eggs from B&M recently, 89p for 6 but not 'large', although definitely bigger than the supermarket '15 for £2.50' type ones I was getting in Morrisons.
Can't buy eggs unless it says 'free range' on the box. To be honest I much prefer the flavour of a free range egg compared to a battery / barn egg, but based my decision on welfare (which while probably not amazing, is better for Free Range than the other two).
