Note: Matalan discount is only applicable when you have a Matalan card (It's free ofc)
Dorothy Perkins varies, could be between 10-25%, it varies when they have offers on etc.

Another money saving tip for those that go out clubbing quite a bit:
Its worth buying discount cards from 'reps' sometimes... I used to work for 'Bubble Card'. This card entitles you to 50p off many clubs, and 10% off Nandos on weekedays. Do the maths and you will save... Be sure to always do your research before buying one of these discount cards mind.

I hope I'm corrected by this- I used to get 5% off at Play.com through NUS (I'd get my code from the NUS site upon a purchase) earlier this year I noticed they weren't listed on the NUS site so I called Play.com and they informed me they had discountinued their business with NUS. If someone can inform me how you get your discount with Play nowadays, I would be greatful. Great post btw, Subway I never even knew!

I wondered about this too, I don't have a NUS card at the moment but I am supposed to have one coming through Lloyds TSB soon. It probably will always work out better to buy the £5/cheap fares in advance, but good to know if you need to book a coach ticket at short notice. It is also worth noting about the £10 O2 coach offer - which you can find here. Very useful if you need to use multiple coaches to travel home from Uni as one £10 ticket covers coach changes
