It's really rubbish, does not extract at all when cooking, only making noise. I wouldn't recommend it and I don't know how I can get rid of it an replace it with a better one, whichever that might be ... I am really disappointed.

Does it have mesh filters you can clean in a dishwasher? Those seem like a really good idea.

I bought this for £45 2 months ago.
In terms of looks, it looks great. This is maybe because Logik is not wrote anywhere on the hood, lol, but since installing it, i have had nothing but positive comments.
In terms of quality, the tactile bits that you will touch are fine, and I find the light to be adequate, but the chimney is thin thin sheet metal that you will cut yourself on, and it is a pain to fit. Took me about an hour all in to fit, which is fine I would say.
The biggest issue is in terms of the filter. I don;t have ducting, so i need a charcoal filter. Can I get one? NO! Currys don't sell them, and neither does anyone else. Really disappointing. Still, as long as your food doesn't stink, I can live with it.

I bought the logik hood last time someone posted on here a few months ago, it was very poorly made, the metal was very thin, the lights were not halogen ones so werent as bright as my last hood, and the worst bit was that it didn't have much suction and basically just made some noise, I managed to return it after complaining but could not get installation cost returned.
maybe best to see if they have it instore before purchase, if you have one nearby.

Free delivery too. Nice price, but these things are always so noisy they never end up getting used. (in my house anyway)
If there was a reasonably priced quiet one out there, I'd probably get one, as I have the wiring in my kitchen ready to go, but even the expensive ones all seem to be too loud.
