I have had mine for years, had a few issues with the switch, it wouldn't turn off, but have always managed to resolve it. Heat added for me, mine cost £24.99.

I sent a message to unbeatable-uk last night and they got back to me this morning.
I basically asked them about the switch problem and they said that out of 191 sold they have only had 4 with this problem!
They also said that unbeatable-uk and masterplug will honour the warranty for 2 years.
That has put my mind at rest. Hot deal!

The eBay ones from this deal are new from a VAT registered business! I would be really surprised if Masterplug didn't uphold the guarantee.

Well I've already bought three so if they are faulty they will go to the manufacturer as they have a 2 year warranty.

I was also told from masterplug that the ebay ones they wouldnt be able to do anything about, hence i sent the one i had from screwfix to them!

Yeah, i was told from Masterplug that using items with transformers for prolonged length of time will cause the switch to fail, thus 2 laptops with the external power supplies doesnt help for 9 hours a day! But its a plug, it should work!

I have two sorts: The original Masterplug with a push button switch and a white Sainsbury tower with a rocker switch similar to that shown here. The swtiches have gone on both.

Had a couple of these, and the switch at the top always broke.

Yes, i have too, i brought 2 from this company, and one from screwfix, and all 3 became faulty within 1 day with broken switches on the top. I have sent one off to masterplug so they can send me a better product.
I only had 2 laptops and a thermal label printer on it, pathetic really!

thats the replacement masterplug sent me if anyone was interested, much better switch on the top, data connections also have slide covers on too.
