The quality of Slug & Lettuce ranges from branch to branch. The cocktails at my local one are usually ace, and the food is juuuust about what I expect for the price, and with 50% off 'tis ace.

Lucky cat. I think a balanced approach like 'homagetoshame' is better. Been to two before and can honestly say the food was great and from what I've seen of the sharing platters - you get a massive amount.

The one in Liverpool does great food.

cold because that's usually how my food comes. rather eat in a 'spoons (or failing that gnaw my own foot off).
i'm sure some people may have had a good slug eating or drinking experience but not me.

S&L is basically your typical 3663/Brakes microwaved food fare. Having said that, if you're after a cheap bite to eat and a few drinks with friends then this is a good deal. Just don't take anyone on a date there.

The one in Worcester was pretty damn good, pretty delicious burgers and good service. Went to another one, cant remember where, and it was pretty awful. Seems to vary wildly, still a good deal though!

So looking at the menu, would you get a £5.95 main meal 1/2 price on a Monday? And does anyone know if it includes the £4.95 full english breakfast deal? If so, £2.50 for a full english is a bargain

I confirm this "offer" has been about for years, (plus other regular offers if you sign up to the newsletters), however I've had the shepherds pie there a few times and rather enjoyed it (the slug and lettuce between Leicester square and Chinatown).
They can get a little busy on Mondays what with people taking advantage of this deal (sometimes booking a table is a good idea) but I've not had a bad meal there

We have used the one in Swinegate, York a few times and been really happy with the food and the service.
