Seems a bargain - these types of innersoles are usually about £15-£20 a pair.

I have some of these and they're okay for the price but to compare them to the stuff out there that retails at £15-20 is VERY misleading. These will be fine to replace standard insoles.

I agree you get what you pay for, but ive never seen other gel innersoles for £1.99 before so I don't know how they compare.

In last 12+ months, have observed LIDL selling *similar* gel insoles for £1.99 at regular intervals.

So why are these not as good as £15 ones? Sports direct have £7 cheapest last time I checked. For a while ive been using poundshop foam insoles for my work boots but they get mashed up after a week or two. I do like gel insole as I got some very good ones free from footlocker with my timberlands when I said i would only buy the boots if they included the gel insoles. They would be awesome for work.

I use these in my safety boots for work and they do help a lot...... I paid much more for my last pair of coolmax insoles so I gotta vote hot.

Excellent my hubby uses these for work in his steel toes and we've been waiting for lidl to stock them again as these are so much better than the foam ones you get. Without these he ends up with corns on his feet as steel toe boots are not exactly the most comfortable of footware. Thanks for posting hot from me.

My problem is with my heels. I wear Doc Martens Royal Mail edition and my heels hurt badly. Memory Foam heel bits off ebay get crushed and flatted out after a few days. Wish there were gel heel pads.... not cup shaped ones. But, thick inclined plane ones. :disappointed::disappointed:
Trust me, Sorbothane are the real deal. They are a dense foam/rubber and they have eliminated my shin splints and saved my knees.
They don't crush away to nothing like almost everything else on the market

so many posts claiming these will be terrible cause they are cheap , is it possible that the more expensive one are massively over priced !!!

Im gonna try em at £1.99. If they are no good then I will look at sorbothane. Im flat footed and I tried a few years ago to see what nhs could get me, but they were awful hard plastic things that didnt help at all. The gel ones from footlocker are pretty good and if these are similar then Ill be happy.

As they were so cheap (£2.99) I bought a pair of these and used them in my boots. They were initially good but rapidly developed uncomfortable ridges in the heel section (after only about 10 uses) so I've had to ditch them.
I won't be repeating the mistake.
