My missus isn't worth £3, barely worth 30p. Hopefully they'll have some dead ones reduced at the end of the day.

Can't believe the comments over the mishap with the title. If you are stupid enough to think you will get 12 bunches for £3 then you need help!

Graveyards/creamatoriums are a better bet, far more variety and in lots of cases they are already arranged.

If you can afford to live somewhere warm enough to pick roses in the middle of February, I hardly think buying roses is going to dent your wallet much....

How many people do you know with any roses in their garden at the moment? Everything is white so can't even see the rose bushes under all that snow!

As usual, my local Tesco Mega-Super-Store (Hayes Bulls-Bridge) hasn't even heard of this offer and said that they'll have some "flowers" in on Monday... effing useless lot.

Best place to buy flowers is the flower shop in Canary Wharf. (Part of it is how much you waste on the stuff).
Don't think getting cheap flowers is worth it.
There again running around from 5am trying to find wild ones is probably more romantic.

this whole concept of valentines day is nothing but a con to brainwash fools into thinking that romance can only be celebrated on a single day. This does nothing but drive up prices and feed greedy social enterprises.

Shame Valentines day isn't in November, there's loads of really nice wreaths just lying around then. And poppies are pretty similar to roses.

Ahhh you can still take it further...
Why not go and pinch some nice fresh ones from the hospital? There's some really extravagant bunches in the children's wards. You can say that you're just going to go and put them in some water ...and the best part is, the patients aren't going to be able to chase you (many probably won't even notice).

Why not go the whole hog and drive along busy roads looking for spots where people have been killed in accidents. Sometimes you might score a fluffy toy as well, albeit a bit soggy and grimy from passing cars.
Not funny in the slightest, but thought I'd go in with the one above so we can stop the 'joke' now.

Or, 'Bunch of 12 flowers'!
I suppose '12 bunch flowers' is better than 'flowers bunch 12', 'bunch flowers 12' or 'flowers 12 bunch' though
