Not a bad summer brew. A little weak, a touch too fruity, and of course, its fizzy, but not bad for relaxing with after a spot of gardening. Mind you, I picked up the cans, at £3 for 4...

Only 50% hand picked apples (see back label) so either the other 50% are picked by some other means e.g foot or it's 50% sugar and/or other cheaper ingredients (only 4.5% abv) not to mention colouring of some kind. IMO cider is not naturally that colour.

Have tried it and IMO just about ok at current offer price but prefer the real thing e.g Aspall Dry Premier Cru Suffolk Cider (7% abv) or Westons Oak Conditioned (8.2% abv) or Organic (7.3%).

Aspall is on offer at Tesco 2 for £3.00 so a good time to try and compare for yourself.

The fact they try and tell you it's made with better apples because they're hand picked (same as everyone else) is just typical of the way they see the average consumer... an idiot.

I suppose if it's sweet and crisp enough, cider's a refreshing summer drink, maybe £6 isn't so bad, but it's just cider people.

Bit of a girly cider drink like Magners and Bulmers......not far off from Diamond white IMO

Prefer proper English cider myself, Westons organic rocks

If you like Magners or Bulmers, you'll like this but, despite the heritage f the brewer with regards to lager, this is a mass produced cider and tastes like it.
Still hot, though.

As has already been pointed out, Stella is Originally) brewed in Belgium but with regards to the French connection, French ciders are usually brewed very weak and sweet - most of the ones that I've seen barely make it over the 3% ABV mark.

There's a Sainsbury deal on their Taste The Difference French cider ...it's £1.99 a bottle but on offer at 3 for £3 ...great tasting cider.

Who cars who makes what as long as its nice. Personally I don't like beer but it doesn't put me off but equally I wouldn't care if there was a Magners beer

These aren't bad at all, I got myself a few. I'm usually big on cider, but these are nice and easy to drink.

Re-visited my local Asda for some of these, non in stock... the cans however, were all over the store (£3 for 4 cans).

Silly comment to make if you haven't tried the product.

I've tried the cider and I like it. Don't see it sticking around at this price forever though, although I've picked it up the past 2 Thursdays at Asda for £6. Hot from me.

Got 10 bottles for £1 each with my Asda shopping last week - there was no need to buy in boxes of 6 bottles. A little fizzy, but nice and refreshing enough. Very similar to Magners/Bulmers.

Got some of this myself, I enjoy my Cider and found this very good indeed.

Have some heat.

My husband bought 1 for £1 last night, he didn't need to get 6. He said it was nice.
